It's amazing that a ticket for this game is cheaper :) but suppose theres travel costs to consider.

True, it costs me more in diesel to go to a home game than the cost of the ticket.

Might try that sky one dayer thing then. Turn our lounge into an away end by emptying the bin on to the floor, put a banner up and have the oven filled with pies warming. I might even charge myself a fiver for cack lager.

If the cat wanders in though it will kick off.

If you could head north to Chesterfield then you'd be more than welcome to a lift, setting off at 4:30 though.

Cheers for the offer matey but the missus is recovering from major surgery so I'm on caring duty when not at work.

Appreciate the thought though thanks. We'll have to start the Derbyshire saddlers branch :D

No Problem, I hope your wife is recovering well.

I only know of us two but we need a central point, thinking Alfreton :D

To be honest I could be tempted to watch on Sky tonight as I don't fancy the 2+ hour trip to Preston.
I have my ticket though and haven't been to Deepdale before so I'll travel, think we've sold 700 tickets so far, should be a good atmosphere.

It is a good ground that lends itself to an atmosphere. Well worth a visit if you haven't been before.

Do you have an iPhone or iPad? for £5.99 a month I subscribe to the Sky Sports Mobile TV app but unsure if it works outside of the UK. You can pay first month then unsubscribe.

I hope you're referring to Deepdale and not North Street (Alfreton) :D

Deepdale does look a great stadium at League One level.

Wonder if Thor will get his face on telly.

Suppose it depends if crimewatch is on.

Definitely Deepdale! My first visit was back in the mid eighties, it was very different back then!

Sadly can't get to the game today (very early shift tomorrow at work). Plan on watching it in Walsall Town Centre tonight instead, the only question is which fine establishment to visit to watch the game?

Talking of Thor - with the biggest meeting between the two sides in recent memory he has been conspicuous by his absence!

Sallian predicting a 3-0 to PNE while knocking Deano in the process. Nothing like support is there....

Think it will be 0-0, 10560 with 1089 Saddlers

Hope not, don't fancy 4.5 hours travelling in the car for a 0-0 bore draw :D

which reminds me I best get going

Odds at kick-off heavily leaning towards the home team:

Preston to win............. 2/3

The draw................... 9/4

Walsall to win............ 7/2

I have sky and this comes up everytime i try to watch it on the pc.
This works for me though-
I click on the pop out window bit.

The first time it mentions silverlight i press continue.
The second time - right click and just click on silverlight - then when the silverlight screen comes up i just press ok and then it works. Hopefully this might work for you.

I am gutted, but understand that we are supposedly on Sky (though I cannot find the match on any of the sky sports channels that night), does anyone know of a decent, non virus streaming, so that I can watch on my computer, as I don't have Sky sports anyway.
Thanks in advance......

I'll be watching via http://livetv.sx/en/eventinfo/279820_preston_walsall/ if I can set my alarm for 3.30am without waking my wife.

Russian site, but they've never harmed me.

Started watching this site and has just froze - came up with a screen saying banned! and red cross out - :(

Will have to find another route!
