God, I feel for anyone that's gone. Absolute bullshit, injuries or not.

3-0 down, think we only turned up to give them target practice. :(

"Keith Hill's game plan was very, very simple - hit the No 7 (left side midfield) who won all but 1 header against Alcock and then pick up the 2nd ball, which they did. Very much like Bassett teams. The difference with Rochdale is that they also had a very busy midfield. The plan worked perfectly, but no blame to Alcock - the No 7 was a real lanky git."
Comms said earlier O'Connor was getting destroyed by this tactic, he's not very good at right back is he?
Whole of the team having a shocker, shows how that maybe Chambers in the middle isn't done yet.

I would only ever play O'Connor at CB in this team. When/if Butler goes back to Utd, I would put Chambers or Kinsella on the right and O'Connor or Chambers alongside Downing.

Re: Rochdale Away
We will get this back to 3-2 and then bottle late chances for the draw. Smith will say the first half was rubbish, but then claim we were excellent, superb and unlucky in the second and deserved at least a point. Heard it here first!

If Slade does get the sack, I realised Smith would move further up the longest serving managers table. I wonder how long he'll be there though...

Anyone who blames Deano for this is an idiot, I've been sitting here watching us get slaughtered wondering what we could of done differently, I can't think of any, injuries caught up with this. Nothing Deano can do about an astronomical injury list, youth showering their inexperience and individual poor performances from typically solid players.

As one who's in the say it as you see it camp all I can say is that Smith obviously got lucky on Saturday.
Oh well we can look forward to another win around mid December.

Manager manages the team.

Your right, absolutely no other managers have to deal with injuries, youth or squad deficiencies. Silly UTSers thinking the manager may have any blame whatsoever in tonight's show.

Re: Rochdale Away
Men against boys no doubt and the injury list just gets longer and longer.
A club like ours is in no position to have 4 key players out and expect to get something from a match like this.

With regards the injuries, last season we were talking about how few injuries we were getting so what has changed, training methods or players who are injury prone!

With respect the first choice back 4 is out there, maybe it's just an off night.

Just to go with the other 23 off nights and days that we have had in the last 26 games. Perhaps last Saturday was the off day?
