It was Taylor. Nice try, though.

A yellow for Ngoo followed by a goal for Bristol City no wonder no one is at home. 0-1 crapsville. :( Just about sums up the season.

WHEN OH WHEN will we EVER practice penalties! we MUST be the worst team in all 5 Divisions at scoring from penalties!
Crap end to the season again (for a change)

Doubt if we practice shooting or penalties, means someone has to make a decision.

Oh dear. Wonder if it was as grim to watch as it was to listen to.

Starting to worry for next season now. This is no blip in form, we've been crap since January and can't score to save our lives - we might have to next season.

They announced over the tannoy at the end of the game the open training session.
I said to my uncle "Yes, come and see how we practice our sideways and backwards passing!"
Whenever we get into an attacking position no-one wants to shoot or make an attacking move. Much easier to pass it to someone else to make the decision. Gutless.

I cant even be arsed to write a report. That was quite frankly, pathetic. Beaten by a team who didnt even try to win.
Crap.
If people cant see what WEstcarr brings to the team now, they should give up.

Re: Bristol City (H) League One 12 Apr, 3.07pm
I thought Nicholls was bad at penalties, it seems our entire team other than Westcarr hasn't got a clue at how to take them! Get O'D to take them, pure power, instead of these super fudge slow trickling shots into the corners.
Ngoo wasn't that bad, in fact he played better than Sawyers and Baxo did.
Brandy easy MOTM.
Odd that we played Ngoo on the wing and Brandy up top, but it kind of worked in the first half as we were threatening. We conceded from a poor penalty from Taylor, he is still a top left back, but he just got caught out from poor play at the back where we played ourselves into trouble.
Deano said after the game that their penalty decision was wrong, now I am the biggest supporter and backer of Smith as you can find... but what is he on about?
Blatant penalty, no complaints from me.

Yes NGoo was our best player and we managed to play even worse when he was taken off.
The reaction when he was taken off was terrible, and it was quite embarrassing.
Stonewall penalty.

Yet again another pathetic result and pathetic performance. I am now convinced Dean Smith has got to go. He has had a fair crack and has resorted us to a bunch of namby pamby sideways passing non entity with no end product.
Both him and his disloyal sidekick O'Kelly must go tonight, preferably before I hear another excuse of referee, injuries, pitch, fans, other team has better budget, weather, economy, world affairs etc etc. Thanks for trying Dean, but time to go!

fudge off, what a load of bollocks. We have a bottom four budget, and we are disappoint to have fallen away from the fudge play offs! I really hope you are joking as it fudge annoys me that we have fans like this, like the ones who boo at half time and the ones who boo'd Ngoo when he came off. fudge joke.

Re: Bristol City (H) League One 12 Apr, 3.07pm
A game which summed up Walsall's season - dominate the game, show absolutely no idea in and around the opponents' penalty-area and lose to inferior opposition (and Bristol WERE inferior). Ngoo had probably his best game for us but he was still N(o) goo(d). Why are we giving valuable first-team experience to a young player from a Premier League club instead of one of our own - who is also a better player, anyway? Bristol had one shot on target in the first half (the penalty) and one shot plus a lucky ricochet in the second (both well-saved by O'Donnell). Listening to their fans, you would have thought that they had just clinched the title but I was expecting more from them. They were poor - which makes our defeat so exasperating. As all Saddlers fans know, the squad lacks balance - too many tippy-tappy attacking midfield players and no out-and-out finishers, although Bakayoko may eventually fill that role - and, if he does, he will immediately be sold.
Let's use the remaining matches to give game time to our own young professionals such as Ben George, Reece Flanagan, Liam Kinsella, Kieron Morris, etc. Unfortunately, Matt Preston got injured while playing on loan at Barwell.

Its fans like this that make me feel sick. How can you be dissapointed with a team that plays the right way, has no budget and frankly quite poor support and yet has challenged for the playoffs two years in a row. Look at previous managers with the same budget- all they did was get us into relegation scarps.
Yes, we were poor today but I do agree with Smith most of the time that the referee's and bad luck have caused our downfall in recent months.
Be proud to be a saddler. Enjoy our play and our league positions. Some of our greatest moments have come under Smith. The win at Molyneux, at Notts County etc. Deano addmitted on WM today that we lack goals and that will be adressed during the summer so lets see what happens.
