20mins to hope for an own goal or penalty....but stand much more chance of the own goal being a goal...as an own goal is already a goal.
If there was no goal keeper for the penalty then chances of scoring increase
If there was no goal keeper for the penalty then chances of scoring increase

2 shots on target after 60mins.
The attacking problems are not being admitted to and this is why there will be no solution and a wasted season.
Brilliant logic. We have a worse goal difference than the team who are currently TOP of the league, therefore we won't make the playoffs. I must have not noticed when teams were given extra points for the amount of goals they score.

There needs to be a banner behind the goal (the one Walsall are supposed to be attacking) in each game saying "THE GOAL IS TO SCORES GOALS BY SHOOTING HERE"

My bet is that we WILL get a penalty...but Hemmings will take and miss.

Lalkovic shoots 'too high' this is a common thread in Walsall shooting.
As seeing as there doesn't seem to be much advice rectifying this from the coaches, I will give some:-
1) Get your knee almost over the ball
2) keep your toes pointed down
3) keep your head down
4) don't lean back
5) strike the ball in the centre
6) follow through pointing towards the goal

If all the scores remain the same and we nick a winner, there'll be two points worth of daylight between us (6th) and Swindle (7th). However, Would not be the end of the world if we get a draw and Franchise v Bradford stick at two each.

If they allow Hemmings to take it, we don't deserve to score

If we nick a winner it will continue the false belief that we don't need to rectify the poor attack

Crawley keeper double saves, first from Hemmings and the follow up from the scoring sensation that is Craig Westcarr.
+4 mins

Dean Smith said in the Peterboro interview "It's important to score the first goal..." COMMENTARY:"...Because we can't score two and often don't score one"

Happy with that.
Have we been on a recruiting drive for fans in Dingleville lately?

Good away point, but we won't make the playoffs with the current squad. It takes 5.4m efforts on goal for us to score and we just aren't clinical enough.
Still enjoying it though!

A bit frustrating but another clean sheet and another point is decent. Let's beat Vale next week and we're well in the hunt.
It's great that Deano has raised expectations so much since he got the job but some people need to get a fudge grip. If not getting promotion equals a "wasted season" then you've missed the whole point and you'd have a far less frustrating time or dare I say you'd "waste" far less time following Walsall.
Well done to Adam and James. Horrible time for them but sounds like both had their usual reliable games.

Why? they are a middle of the table team, they've only scored 1 league goal in over a month, conceded 9 and picked up 1 point from 15. They are obviously rubbish as is our strike force.
