Milton Keynes Dons (A) League One, Sat 2 Nov 3pm
Off to the land of concrete cows and the infamous "Franchise" football club that is MK Dons. A current article on the BBC website questions whether it's about time the animosity and "Franchise" references should be dropped as it's now 10 years since Pete Winkelman performed his sleight of hand conjuring trick to bring League football to Milton Keynes for the first time. As far as I'm concerned the name of the club will always be tainted...however, let's look at their current form (last 6 League One games):
28 Sep Stevenage (H) WON 4-1
5 Oct Gillingham (A) LOST 3-2
12 Oct Leyton Orient (A) LOST 2-1
19 Oct Rotherham United (H) WON 3-2
22 Oct Carlisle United (H) LOST 0-1
26 Oct Tranmere Rovers (A) LOST 3-2
The Dons are currently 11th in the table on 19 points, 3 behind us, with an identical +3 goal difference. Their leading scorer, Bamford, has an impressive 11 goals to his name, some way ahead of Williams and Banton (NOT Dale!!), both on 4. We'll probably be able to welcome back McLoughlin in their goal. The welcome might not be so warm for the odious Izale McLeod (came on as a sub for them today) - he does fall over with consummate ease.......
We do seem to do well at this stadium, and if the right team turns up we should get 3 points ... say 1-2, with Sawyers and Westcarr for us.

Yes, let's move on from the Franchise talk....

I'm there plus one . Think there might be a few goals in this one. Hopefully 3-2 to the mighty Saddlers. Don't care who scores them !!

According to Fifa14 played this morning 3 - 0 to the Super Saddlers. A Chambers, Sawyers, Westcarr. Lalkovic came on in the second half for Baxendale and got sent off for two booksable tackles.

Swindon and Rotherham both in front makes it tighter in the near play off places.

Top three appear to be 'running away ' with the League, so until Leyton Orient 'do a Tranmere' Looks like the Dingles and Posh will go straight back up leaving the rest of us to fight for the third spot, probably Coventry!!

Could do with Swindon v Vale being a draw.

Orient equalize. 1-1 draws all round please, with a big fat 3pts from us.

Half time 0 - 0 but no more shots either on or near the goal. Need to pull their socks up in the second half.

Is Essington a shooting practice free zone? Or is it level with penalty taking practice...ie non existent!
Passing sideways and backwards appear to be the order of the day.......... :?

Swindon and Coventry now in 2 goal leads means a draw and lose ground on these 2.

Sod it, one down after 65 mins! Need to dig deep again to recover a point, especially with other scores going against us.
