Hi All,
The YeltzBar will be open at 6pm tonight which is located about 50 yards from the ground. See you all there. :D

I see from a Halesowen fan site that we won 2-1. Anyone got any info?

Decent game on a poor surface, didn't stop us trying to play Football though. My thoughts on the trialists/players from last season:
McQuilkin: Very impressive, tidy and loves to play football - would be a good signing, very much in the mould of Mantom but probably slightly better IMO.
Ball: Worked his nackers off and was rewarded with a goal, would be disappointed if he was one of our main strikers though because don't think he is ready to lead the line in league 1 just yet but certainly some one to have as back up as there is potential.
Westcarr: Looked OK at times but could tell he really didn't want to be there.
Sawyers: Complete waste of time, you can tell he is massive time still and did nothing but flicks and tricks - would be extremely worried if he is offered a contract as I don't see what he adds based on last night and his cameo appearances last season.
J Purkiss: Very impressive also ala McQuilkin. Has got a good engine, can pass a ball and also gets stuck in. Maybe worth taking a closer look at.
Few mentions for the young lads as well, was very impressived with Dallison (captain) who didn't lose much in the air at all and looked very composed when on the ball and also Wes Rush when he came on looked pretty useful. All in all a good work out and deserved victory.

This is the problem when they are used to being paid 4k a week in a Premier League academy without having to put much effort in.
My brother (baglady) said exactly the same about him 2 years ago when he played for baggies reserves vs Rushall. "lazy" "thinks hes a billy big bollocks" etc etc.
