Agree.

We can get away with dodgy pacey players now, because we play half decent football on the deck.
Id still like us to make a cheeky bid for Cuvelier again now, he can be the main man again.

waste of money, according to a fan i know his middlesborough career is on its Arsenal. get him on loan and see how he does with an eye to a free. although he's responsible for possibly the single greatest performance i've seen in a walsall shirt (colchester utd at home) i ain't sure he's cut out for english lower league football. having said that, given our new philosophy and unprecedented sympathy from refs, he may flourish.

He's proven himself as a class act in two separate spells playing for us, which suggests Smith knows how to manage him in the right way. If he's available and within our reach financially, we should definitely look to bring him back.
I'd love to see him return to the Banks's - as long as the deal suits us, of course.

What, Sam Johnstone - Season long loan, Scott Wagstaff, Rene Howe and Florent Cuvelier on loan?
Well, we know the first is true, as Smith said so! As for the rest . ........

Signed for Colchester.

I'd argue that his scintillating performances would win more points than we'd drop as a result of him being quiet though. As I said, if we could get something agreed on our terms, he'd be a great addition to the squad. Smith knows how to get the best out of him, which seems to be something Tony Mowbray struggled with.
