Hopefully we'll clinch the deal next year.

I can't see why he would go from a league 1 number 1 to another league 1 number one. Both us and MKD finished in similar positions with similar hopes for the end of the season.
I can't see us offering him more money either... nor would he expect it after wearing a used kit with a 1 covering the last wearers name.
Though I rated him and would like to hope its true.

Can't imagine he'd want to leave a managerial mastermind of Fergie proportions either.

But MK Dons number 1 is David Martin.

That's the key. McLoughlin clearly doesn't want to play second fiddle to another keeper at our level - and rightly so. He seemed decent enough when he played for us on loan, and did a good job for MK towards the end of the season too.
You have to take footballers' comments on Twitter with a pinch of salt, but what I've seen over the last few days suggests he's angling for a move back to the Banks's.

I thought he was number 1 now as he was the end of last season after leaving us??

Martin also recently signed a new two year deal at MK. Judging by rectangles twitter he wants first team football and gets on rather well with some members of our squad. Sign him up I say!

He was good but personally I thought Johnstone was best. Darlow was decent but no better than rectangle or Johnstone for me. All about opinions though ay it?

He was a decent Shot stopper but not a very good goalkeeper all round. Seemed arrogant to me too.
I thought his kicks always went to Brandy or out. And there wasnt much brandy was going to do with them in the air.

There aren't many 22 year old goalies who are the complete package though, are there? Those who are tend to play at international level - Joe Hart & David de Gea spring to mind.

I believe James McQuilkin is on trial with you ATM.
Very gifted young player albeit a bit on the small size. Formed a very effective three-man midfield with Feathers and [s]Lenny[/s] Kenny Lunt.

If he is a very gifted player, what was the reason in your lot releasing him?

Re: Summer 2013 Transfer Rumours
Casey Thomas (ex-Swansea) tweeting about Dean Smith this morning so fair assumption that he is one of the triallists when the players return to training on Monday.

He is very much in the mould (size, position, point to prove) as Febian Brandy. I think that Febs is Sheffield United bound now...
I'm pretty sure that Brandy played for Swansea at one point too - if we are looking at players from the likes of Swansea, I think it outlines the club's/manager's footballing philosophy. Sounds quite encouraging to me.

He is just re-tweeting a quote from Dean Smith - as in Dean Smith the former basketball coach, not the Ginger Mourinho!

Non.
Somma and Sodje are constantly injured and both have dodgy knees, Fuller would want our entire club budget per week as would Vassell and Alan Lee is about as over the hill as any striker that's free this summer. Slow, lumbering and would want huge wages. No thanks to any of them, unless we pay Fuller on a reasonable pay as you play contract.

Would take Fuller as a replacement for Westcarr, he has been linked with Vale so he can't want that much money.

Rene Howe, Steve Simonson, Scott Wagstaff, Danny Haynes Could any of these do us a job? Wages could be a big problem as the norm.

I've always rated Danny Haynes. Think he'd be out of our league, despite the fact that he's probably be a good replacement for Brandy.
If I've got one wish for this summer, it's that we don't go about recruiting over the hill strikers whose legs have gone. Macken did a half decent job for 18 months or so, but I'd like to think we've moved on since then.
