Brentford 1 - 2 Walsall
Butler & Brandy
If we win this one then there might be an outside chance of the play - off's but we'll have to see!!

Win this and I think we'll make a genuine charge for the playoffs. Lose and I think we'll have too much ground to make up over the remaining games.
With that in mind, I'll go for a 1-1 draw. Paterson with our goal.

Very frustrated by this game, I've got a ticket to see England play France at Twickenham which kicks off at 5. If it kicked of an hour later I could do both games.
Mind, I've been to Griffin Park twice and we played badly both times and lost by a single goal. I'm not itching to go there again, but I will be a stones throw away as the game is happening!
PS - If you're looking for a decent pub, try the Greyhound on Kew Green, better than the pubs around the ground if you ask me.

You missed the debacle of 5-0 drubbing back in 2006 then?
Only time I have been to Griffin Park and the most clueless performance I think I have ever seen.
I am not hopeful of getting much this Saturday. A draw would be a decent result but 3 points would be terrific.

Played table tennis against a Brentford fan last night. We beat his team 5-4 away. You'd have to be an absolute idiot not to treat a harbinger like that seriously.
Brentford 4-5 Walsall
Double Brandy, Single Grigg, Pato and @Taundz direct from a goal kick.

Direct from a goal kick? Schoolboy error. Don't you even know the rules of the game? Everyone knows @Taundz isn't allowed to take goal kicks.

You mean Brentford have signed @Taundz as a 'keeper?
(Mind you, he'd probably be a better 'keeper than he is a full-back)

@Taundz's next game will be a pre season friendly for Telford.

This is a must win game after last week's draw but being one of the stronger sides in the league i've seen I think we will fall short of all 3 points.
1-1 Brandy with a late equalizer , 6.5k there to see it including 380 saddlers.

300+ travelling to Laarndan? Hope you're right but we hardly ever muster more than 200 when we go to big smoke or surrounding counties.
Going to be a very tough game to win on Saturday.

Re: Brentford (A) League 1 Saturday 23/2/13.
Another impressive away victory
Brentford have the wobbles especially at home - one victory in the last 5 and that against Stevenage who are plummeting down the table at a rate of notes. A high scoring away win for the mighty saddlers
Brentford 2 v 3 Saddlers
Brandy , Baxendale and Butler
5,625 in attendance - 349 Saddlers standing on the Terraces
Splitter #1 from Groff's backside to make a subsitutes appearance replacing this weeks Mcgoalie in goal midway through the second half in a series of bizzare substitute by Cullys jumpers as Deano sees a red card following an incident involving a rectangle , a triangle and a dodecahedron

Struggling to imagine a win to be honest. :(
2-1 defeat. Close but so far.

0-1 Walsall, BWP showing how much of a bag of cack he is against us by missing every single goal scoring opportunity, whilst Parallelogram scoring thanks to a bit of strong wind. (Not from Deanos backside)

My thoughts exactly. Head says 2-1 Brentford, but aaaah sod it.... 2-1 Walsall (Grigg and Grigg)!

No, not David Grof. The "shock team news" was actually that Ben George makes his debut at right back.
Team:
McCarey, George, Downing, Butler, Taylor, Brandy, Mantom, Chambers, Paterson, Westcarr, Grigg

The BBC website posts a slightly different team
McCarey
Butler
George
Downing
Taylor
A. Chambers
Baxendale
Mantom
Grigg
Paterson
Brandy
Substitutes: Grof, Holden, Benning, Featherstone, Hemmings, Bowerman, Westcarr.
(Westcarr on the bench, Baxendale in the starting XI)
Purkiss was supposed to be fit - evidently not, as he's not even on the bench!

Saddlers player is once again notable by it's absence.
Brentford prematch agrees with the Beeb. No team sheets though as they've had a power cut.
