I'm very much of the same opinion here, a draw would be a cracking result but can see us just losing it, really hope i'm proved wrong. I'll be there along with another 600 saddlers i reckon.

Right I'm on a roll now with the 3-1 win v Oldham predicted correctly. So this is going to be a real test for us against a very decent team. 1-1 with 487 saddlers in attendance.

If you really want a drink then your best bet is Oscar's coach. He lets you drink on there and stops off at a pub going and coming back. The only thing is i'm not sure where you would book up with him.It used to be the Cuckoo & Bell in Stafford Street but i'm not sure if it's open anymore or if he owns it anymore.

Re: Doncaster Rovers (A) League 1 Saturday 9/2/13.
For the benefit of cuzo and others, it is illegal for a bus or coach taking passengers to a football match to carry alcoholic drink. The driver would stand to lose his licence and the coach company fined. The driver would be extremely foolish to allow passengers to bring alcohol on to his coach.
Of course, there is nothing to prevent the coach stopping regularly at various pubs, en route and return! It is alcohol in the coach that is illegal - not alcohol in the passengers!

I was going but heard someone once stood in the away end and so now i'm not sure. Does anyone know Doncaster's policy on fans enjoying themselves?

I don't know about the standing or enjoyment policies but I do know that they do allow fans to enter with a national flag of their choosing.

They didn't seem to mind people standing last time. However, don't stand up and then accidentally run down thirty steps to the front of the stand and accidentally berate the stewards for summat or other.
They definitely don't like that, as one UTS poster can verify.

My first chance in ages to see the mighty Saddlers in action 'in the flesh' Looking forward to seeing the 'new improved' recipe! Be a tough ask to dismantle a very positive attack, especially on thier own turf! Last year thier home form was abysmal, but has improved substantially, as thier League position proves. Cant really see us pinch more than a draw, but would be pleased to see a good performance...even in defeat... if it be so, no ignominy in losing at the Keepmoat!
Won't stop me screamin me bloomin head off though!!

Their home record has improved? They've lost 5 at home (same as us) and they've won the same games as us but we've drawn 2 more than them so we have a better home record than the team who's 2nd. Their away record has got them 2nd.

Could be a draw with lots of goals. 3 - 3 (Paterson, Grigg, Westcarr to equalize!)

I get what you are saying, and you are right of course, but to compare the two sides at home? I know what team most of the division would rather be playing, but thats what called a 'historic' reluctance for anyone to consider the Bonkss's' to be a fortress!
If anyone gewin gets bored, or fancies entertainment rather than beer before the match, there is a 'crackin' model train display/fair on a the racecourse, one of the largest in the country. (sad git mode)
