There's more chance of finding Shergar's DNA in Tesco's freezer cabinet than the game being on Saturday.
The temperature will do for it if we dont have 59 inches of snow before then.

From a purely selfish point of view I hope it is called off.
Will have to miss it so have agreed to give my ticket away for the game if it's on. If it's called off I get to go.

Some people say we need to be more optimistic in the match threads, this combined with the prospect of Bournemouth bringing an extra few fans will be enough to get Whalley and Gamble on the pitch with the oil burners....
....game on! :D

9.30am pitch inspection so im lead to believe, if they manage to get it on then they deserve all the praise they receive

Re: A F C Bournemouth (H) League 1 Saturday 19/1/13
9.30am seems very late. It won't stop Bournemouth (team and fans) travelling if it's called off that late. Or am I wrong?
South Wales suffering mega-snow but here in Derwen Fawr, Swansea, by the sea, it's the usual thing - about 1cm this morning, all gone (more or less) by tea time. :(
Still, 5 or 10 miles from here, it's sledging paradise! :D
But kids have all grown up, so no excuse to get sledge from storage in the garage :(

Game on - be interesting to see how many people brave it and how many bournemouth bring. This kind of game deserves a decent crowd but unfortunately can see the weather deciding it for a lot of people, hope i'm wrong though would love to see more than 4k but think that may be a bit optimistic

Indeed. It will probably struggle to top 3,000 in the circumstances.
Anyway, now it's on I'll say a 1-1 draw. Grigg for us.

On the Bournemouth line-up...of their three "injured, won't play" players, one (McQuoid) is on the bench and the other two (Grabban and O'Kane) are in the starting eleven. Their £400,000 signing Ryan Fraser is not named at all. :?

22 minutes, a booking for Purkiss. Nothing else to report from web sources, except that Bournemouth appear to have 70% or so of the play. About three shots each, no corners, a couple of fouls.
Elsewhere, Notts County are 0-1 down at home to Sheffield United, and Doncaster are 1-0 up at home to Leyton Orient. As things stand, this gives us a nice 3 point cushion in the table.......
Anyone else out there??? :?

Assist by Purkiss, and if things stay like this (unlikely, I know), we're 11th, a mere 2 points from the play-offs....

Re: A F C Bournemouth (H) League 1 Saturday 19/1/13
Was a little worried about todays 'match on', in the past I seem to recall that wonderful efforts to get a match played at the Bonks's's' have ended with 'dissapointing' results, things may be changing, for the best, we hope!
Great to see us winning against what must be one of the strongest sides in the Division, but can we REALLY believe, the BBC's 94% possession in our favour? we're good but surely not THAT good?
