Re: Reddicth United (A) - Friendly 1st August
Saddlers line-up:-
David Grof
Ben George
Richard Taundry
Chambers (which one?)
Paul Downing
James Baxendale
Connor Taylor
Jake Jones
George Bowerman
Febian Brandy
Keiron Morris
Subs:-
Aaron Williams
Tom Hayes
Reece Flanagan
James Walker (unused)
The match was a classic from the Roy Whalley School of Marketing - no team sheets, no team lists, no tannoy - but they did have chips! (very good they were, too) :D
Both Chambers twins were present but only one played - and I've no idea which one!
I was amazed that only 3 goals were scored as both teams looked uncomfortable in defence and both teams should have scored more. We looked very lightweight in some areas, notably Baxendale and Brandy, although Bowerman did "put himself about". Taundry played at left-back. A workmanlike performance overall. I still like Flanagan. He is a skilful player who rarely wastes a pass.
As stated above, Jones and Brandy scored our goals in the first half.

Yes, that's the one. With red hair and a name like Flanagan, he must come from Kingstanding!
