Didn't he have a career threatning injury whilst on trial with a club?

Thought he was the mug that, before had no intention in joining us after abusing our training facilities? Or am I thinking of someone else.

Summer Transfer Rumours 2012
Abusing the facilities? Did he have a sly tug in the showers or something?

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours 2012
That'd be embracing them, not abusing.
I think everyone wants a sudden tug when they see our training ground and shower room.

That was the 666th post in this thread. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man's number. His number is 666.

Not sure whether he'd be good enough to start for them. He'l probably end up being a squad player, not get any pitch time and then go out on loan to Brentford or Crawley. Sure the money's worth it though.

I'll be quite confident that now Ledesma has signed for Boro we will use the wages 'on the table' to start signing some of the better players (McLeod) quite quickly.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours 2012
Made the mistake at looking at 'Walsall Rumours'. However, the latest one is that we have been linked with striker Luke Rodgers. He has fallen out with Lillestrom it seems. I know Walsall Rumours is about as accurate as Wikipedia, but I think he could more than a job for us. Only just turned thirty so would be worth at least a 1 year contract. He was partnered with Thierry Henry in the States and scoring frequently. Couldn't get a visa renewed so had to leave and went to Norway.

McLeod has not been anywhere near us. The whole thing's a fan trollololol. So I understand anyway, just in case by some miracle he does sign.

One rumour doing the rounds which does seem possible is former Leeds and Carlisle loanee, left back Ben Parker

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours 2012
I see another of our supposed targets has gone elsewhere - Yoann Arquin joined Notts County.
I really do wonder who the hell we are gonna sign up front, the options are less and less.
I really can't see us signing McLeod, not with all the clubs he's being linked with, I fully expect him to end up at Pompey or with his old boss at Gillingham.
I see we're also being linked with Nathan Clarke a Centre Back from Huddersfield.
Also Calvin Andrew a forward released from Palace, with a dreadful goalscoring record.
We'll be signing Macken again at this rate.

It'd take a brave/stupid player to join Pompey at the moment - and if their transfer embargo runs on for another couple of weeks, I don't fancy their chances of signing many players.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours 2012
Nathan Clarke looks a good player, over 300 games for Huddersfield. A good age at 28 as well, give the guy a two year contract if we are to make him a offer. I suggest we use all of Mackem or Ledesma wage (whoever was on the most) to try and get Mcleod. Proven scorer at league 2, no reason he can't do this in league 1 if he has a settled club. Also like us to sign a target man up front as well beacuse our options at the moment are woefull.

I'd be more than happy with just McLeod, decent striker in the squad to build round.

You'll be raining on my parade in a minute Rob, by casting doubt that we'll sign McLeod, a decent target man, two tricky wingers, a creative midfielder, box-to-box player, and holding midfielder.
Spoilsport. Just wait and see!

Jon Harley on trial at Portsmouth, been at Notts County for a couple of years so could possibly love reasonably local, maybe worth a year?
