1 - 3 to them.
Oh, Gawd, I've done it. I forecast a Saddlers' defeat.
We'll probably win, then. :D

Re: Rochdale (A) JP Trophy 2nd Round Tuesday 4/10/11.
I think we need this match. One because there's no pressure, there's very little riding on it. But secondly because Deano is still tinkering with the team, and if he wants to try something new then this is the match to try it. That said, he does need to stop fiddling with the defence and settle on his first choice back four. The central midfield doesn't work currently so this is the game to try and revamp it and it also gives us the option to benefit with the two pacey wingers we ended yesterday with. So I'd go for a team of:
-------------------Walker------------------
-Westlake--Lancashire--Butler--Sadler-
--Nicholls--Peterlin--Hurst--Paterson--
-----------Grigg----Macken/Jarvis------
And then we might win it 2-0.

I assume you are joking on the attendance. I suspect it will be less than half the total, and about a quarter (about 100 at most) Saddlers.

What's got four legs and goes 'wuff!'? Beard fans chained together, doused in petrol and set alight at half time.

I must add that the front page reference as the 'Tin Pot Cup' does continually wind me up, remind that to the 15,000 faithful who would turn up if we reached Wembley in the 'Tin Pot Cup'. Somehow the fact we have NEVER played at Wembley and would reach a major final for the first time ever may change some opinions, talk about gift horse! oh forgot we must beat Rochdale first!

Re: Rochdale (A) JP Trophy 2nd Round Tuesday 4/10/11.
BBC website doesn't appear to be interested in giving team details about the JP Trophy, but according to Sky we've annnounced the following squad:
Grof, Peterlin, Nicholls, Taundry, Gnakpa, Chambers, Walker, Jarvis, Sadler, Butler, Hurst, Smith, Paterson, Martin, Grigg Westlake.
That's 16 players, but who gets the nod to start is anyone's guess from that lot. Good to see Butler and Gnakpa available, but no Jon Macken as yet :(
OK, the BBC has come to life, and the starting XI is named there. From the above list, the 5 subs are: Grof, Taundry, Jarvis, Hurst and Paterson.

Even stranger in a way.... Rochdale's top scorer (by some distance) Ashley Grimes, is warming their bench. :?

That is a fair proportion of what will probably be a sub 1,000 crowd.
Edit - it's only a fiver to get in for adults and £1 for under 16's so I'll revise upwards to 1,500ish.
