Why thank you McBentos, you're a very kind and generous young man. I shall remember your kind words as I am eating my sumptuous pre match dinner and will save you a few bones.

I find it so sad how the fans have to wait for the England band to start a chant off or else you can hear a pin drop.

1-0 at half time. They'd better pull their socks up, eh?

Very nearly 1-1, as Rob Earnshaw misses a chance that I would have scored.

Well that was crud. How the hell did Earnshaw miss that chance? I suppose it summed up the game really.

We were ok when we pressed and pushed further up the field. Problem is, we only did it for a total of 40 minutes of the game.
Looked a lot more lethargic with The change of formation and Lampard in the squad.

With Barry and Fatpard in midfield we don't have look immobile. I hope Henderson and Cleverley push on this season for the euros - we will look a lot better with those two in there with Parker sitting.

I think the type of football we are trying to play is good - we just did not have the players out there to press high up the pitch, be mobile with the ball and also be good technically on the ball.

Re: England vs Wales
Absolutely shocking - we were good for 10 minutes, in the first half, the rest it was either a giant borefest of sweet FA or Wales were piling on the pressure. If Wales were half decent we'd have easily lost tonight.
Hope everyone who attended enjoy the fabulous England band banging away all 90 minutes also. Tossers! Can't they tell no [post moderated] likes them or their [post moderated] choice of songs?!

I like them. I've been looking for a new team to support since England and I parted company after that ugly business in South Africa. They play in red, they only fill about a fifth of their ground, they get most of their players from reserve team football - they're us!

Jesus, we will never win anything with Capello. Not rocket science.
He is CLUELESS and should have been sacked after the disgrace of last World Cup.

You're missing the obvious - sharing the same first three letters - maybe you could persuade them to change their name to Walesall? :D

Capello is a relic, a joke. He has a fancy dancy record but the blokes plays defensive boring bilge.
The fact is, Wales could have, and should have won.

Good point! Mrs Section once caught me watching Wales on the goggle box and assumed it was Walsall because of the WAL on the screen. There appear to be myriad reasons for us disillusioned Saddlers to throw in our lot with our celtic cousins! I bet they don't have a crappy band either - just a lovely male voice choir. Mmmm.

Re: England vs Wales
Capello this morning blaming the performance on Wembley!! Good god I hate this current bunch of England tosspots.
How about blaming it on the inability to pass the ball to someone in a white shirt?
Never has so much money been paid to people with so little talent, intelligence or back bone.
