A point will be another step in the right direction. So, a 1-1 draw and Macken on the scoresheet.

Re: Colchester United (A) League 1 Saturday 19/2/11.
Colchester's recent form has been very good at home (won 3, drawn 2, lost 1 in last 6) and abysmal away from home (drawn 1, lost 5 in last 6).
Would be very happy with 3 points here but feel it will be close, i.e. 1-0 either way or a low/no score draw. The main priority is to NOT lose and keep the points total ticking up until we play the teams around us which are must win games!
All fairly obvious stuff but hopefully we can get a decent away backing (despite the long jaunt) and create a top atmosphere for the boys similar to Notts County as it really does help the players.

Colchester away will be a difficult fixture. As stated above, their home form is good at the moment.
I would be happy with a point, going for a 1-1.

i agree a point will be great, a win would be absolutley brilliant, a loss wouldnt be the worst thing provided we bounce back immidiatley,
our follwoing will be okay, we have filled the supporters coach and im sure others will go, to hope it will be another notts county is asking for alot in my opinion,
my next away day will be swindon, havent been since the amazing 07 season

With neither Yeovil or Plymouth playing on Saturday we need to get some sort of result. A win would take us out of the bottom 4.

Hmmm
3-2 but don't know who to.
Or 1-0.
Or 1-1.
Or none of the above and something else.

Only time id say that is if a rugby fan/player gave me some money.
There is absolutely no reason we cannot win again tomorow.
Ill go for a draw though 1-1. Buzzing.

I do think that it will be too much for us to go there expecting a result, 2-0 defeat I fear, but onwards and upwards, we now have hope, we are no longer the 'Stockport' of this Division, and could quite easily achieve the great escape..I certainly hope so, as Chesterfield and Rotherham it would appear, are coming up in the opposite direction..both localish matches for me!

Load of cobblers, if I may be so bold, MOG. :D
Colchester are as long as 10/11, hardly a red hot favourite in a 3 horse race.
You can still get 7/2 for Walsall with Totesport, again, hardly the price of a "RANK outsider destined to lose easily." Our odds have shortened today according to Oddschecker.com.
The handicapper has not caught up with us yet. I had a bit on at Carlisle the other week at 7/2 and will have some more tomorrow.
Never mind the 15 team accumulator relying on Brechin and East Stirlingshire, have a £50 single on the Saddlers at 7/2. You know it makes sense MOG :D

Colchester 1 Walsall 8.
Macken finds his goal scoring boots and nets the lot, forcing Pedagogue to make an embarassing "I was wrong " admission tonight live on BBC 1, halfway through Casualty.
Meanwhile on the pitch at half time, Evo Boozy Saddler is finally apprehended by the Thai version of the CSA, who present him with a child maintenance bill for three million baht in respect of the seven children he fathered on a recent CAMRA weekend fact finding misssion to the Far East.

Re: Colchester United (A) League 1 Saturday 19/2/11.
It's one of those hearts v heads time. Heart says 2-1 to the Mighty Saddlers, Grigg double in the last 17 mins, they pull a consolation goal with last kick of the game, head says a goalless draw, with Walsall reduced to 10 men as Grey gets an early bath for fighting with their keeper. 211 saddlers making the long trip!!
