Oldham Athletic (H) League 1 Saturday 25/1/11 Re Arranged
After yet another disappointing cup exit we face yet another must win game ,
Oldham visit the Banks's sitting 6th in the table on 29 points from 18 played.
Recent form last 6 league games .
Southampton - away - lost 1-2
Plymouth - home - won 4-2
Huddersfield - home -won 1-0
Dagenham - away - won 1-0
Exeter - home - drew 3-3
Rochdale - away - drew 1-1
Full away record
3 wins -3 draws - 3 defeats -12 goals for 13 against.
Prediction :
As much as we need and win if Hutchings is still in charge another defeat I'm afraid .

Not even waiting till Friday. If Hutchings is still the manager we'll muster a very weak 1-4 home defeat.
Utter garbage game with no chance, but Hutch will say it was all very even but we didn't get the luck.

It will be called off leading to Dog Face getting the sack.
Much alcohol will then be drunk.

Its irrelevant until the Manager is sacked nothing will change.Sadly for the first time in a long time I am not attending and it saddens me to say that but I feel no one is listening to the fans so the only way I can protest is to stay away . :(

Completely agree. I have no desire to go and watch a team that is blatantly being allowed to be relegated, without a fight. It isn't Hutchings fault he is useless, but if he had any dignity at all, he would step down. If his boss cared at all, he would have been removed weeks and weeks ago.

A 'positive' 0-0 in front of a shocking crowd of 3,084.
Could have a chance of being called off with snow forcast for most of the week, it'll probably ice over. (wouldn't be too upset if this did happen)

Walsall 1 - ∞ Oldham
Our goal courtesy of a split in the space-time continuum caused by Oldham's infinite scoring. New black holes to replace the existing business ones.

UTS needs more of that, now everyone's using broadband and surely has a bitmap editor. Now all they need to do is learn from your example above, of how not to make a rageguy comic.

The ground staff will be up all the night before setting fire to the grass they have lovingly nurtured for six months.
Then it'll be called off at around 2:40.

Re: Oldham Athletic (H) League 1 Saturday 25/1/11 Re Arranged
Back in December this was a must win fixture what this game is now I'm not sure .
Oldham sit an envious 8th in the table on 38 points from 24 played
Full away record
won 4 - drew 3 - lost 4 -16 goals for - 17 against .
Last 6 league results
Hartlepool - away - lost 2-4
Rochdale - home - lost 1-2
Swindon - home - won 2-0
Southampton - home - lost 0-6
Plymouth - away - won 2-0
Brentford - home - won 2-1
Prediction
Reckon they'll be a few goals in this unfortunately Oldham will score more than us.

Re: Oldham Athletic (H) League 1 Saturday 25/1/11 Re Arranged
Logic is completely out of the window in this League at the moment. Just consider:
Oldham lost (at home!) to Southampton by six goals to nil
Southampton lost at Tranmere today two goals to nil
If Oldham are that poor, we should marmalise them. Should.... should.....should
Just to upset Sheff, I'll go for a 3-0 Walsall win

Will be working 50/50 at this match, and attending, sitting near dugout. Expecting a good performance, hopefully a few goals and 3 points. Probably 2-1

As I posted on another thread. Oldham lost 1 of last 4, that being to Southampton. They also have a decent away record.
We have probably a 0-15% of winning.
Oldham would have to have a hell of a bad day not to beat us.

Looking forward to seeing our first victory under Dean Smith
3-1 to us Macken, and 2 from Grigg.
Sheff and Doffer to mysteriously disappear into the long grass.
