There are still around 750 tickets left for this game.
That's 175 sold so far.
That is shocking.

In fairness though that is probably the going rate for most away games. The figure is sure to increase quite a lot over the next day or so owing to it being a nice day out at a new ground. Well heres hoping that it does.

It better, as far as I know tickets are sent back to Fleetwood tomorrow evening.

That’s correct Saddersam any remaining tickets at close of trading after the Peterbourgh game are sent back. With the tickets going n general sale tomorrow the fans that have been whinging saying it’s unfair we go home and away should be able to get theirs so that should be another 100+ sold. Maybe a few more for people who pick and choose their away games seeing it should be a decent day out.
I am off up to the game mainly because it’s a new ground and I normally do all the cup games. Although I intend to have a look at the Blackpool illuminations after the match before heading home.
As for a prediction I think it will be a tight game and not that exciting leading to a one goal win 2-1 to the Saddlers.

Fleetwood Town (A) F A Cup 1st round Saturday 6/11/10.
And this is what Jeff Bonser has done to OUR football club.
A few years back, those tickets would have sold out by now

Apparently people stay away out of protest of paying towards the pension fund. (They don't but they can't work that out for themselves) So away games shouldn't have any effect on their decision. Although I guess a 3rd of the gate goes to Walsall for the F.A Cup games, so I reckon we would have taken about 1200 to Huddersfield ?
I'm not going, got the kids unfortunately, think we will lose though. 2-1

I bought 3 tickets yesterday from the lovely David and he told me we had sold 240.
I am considering raising an army in order that we can progress beyond the first round, Saigon has already volunteered as Chaplain and Geoff Whiting will be the chef [cooking the books - gedit?] Tactics, I think that a modest central thrust backed up by a classic pincer movement on the wings modeled on Rommels Africa Corps will suffice. Exile can mop up as usual.

300 is terrible, I was pretty sure we'd sell out. I'd imagine 500 now at the most. Oh well we'll be loud and have a good day by the seaside then which is then spoilt by the game

I agree, I don't quite understand. I can understand the women, with wet pants going to see Jimmy, although I am guessing he has added a few pounds, and a few wrinkles since last seen. As for the blokes, why on earth seeing him would drag you out on a cold night, unless you were going out , is beyond me.
I was his biggest fan, but I can't say as I am over excited about seeing him again.

i wanted to be there to be able to start/ take part of singing his name at the banks for the first time in a good while, as you can tell by my thread 'club idols'
i was upset with the lack of them and now we have my biggest idol i have had at walsall fc
that was enough for me to pay the 16 quid even though i do now feel like i have been robbed

Fleetwood are a cracking bet at 9-4. (Skybet) Saddlers are evens. If you bet £30 pounds they will give you a free bet of the same stake.

Well this will be my first game since our away win at MK Dons at the end of the 2008/2009 season.
Didn’t even manage one away game last season.
Don’t really know why this one fascinates me so much? Perhaps the thought that it maybe Botchings last game.
After all I went to his first one in charge against Hereford Utd. Which was also my last visit to fortress Bescot.
A bit of a stayaway aren’t I.
