Re: Huddersfield Town (A) League 1 Saturday 30/10/10.
Not looking forward to LISTENING to this one.
-> Incidentally Fleetwood town beat Huddersfield Town 1 - 0 in the their last Pre Season friendly...thus if we lose, well....
On a serious note, Huddersfield have beaten Southampton and Colchester in recent weeks, but have also had their fair share of home disapointment, home draw with Tranmere (which to us almost looks respectable) and defeat to Bristol Rovers (we can dream...).
I predict early goal for the Saddlers from a Devaney Macken combo before conceding 1 goal before half time (corner, flap, played back in, goal, players yell at one another) and another four after half time.
Players yell.
Hoping for a 0 - 1 to the Saddlers ! :)

Quite an unfair comment, Dan.
If I have to stay in and sort my DVDs in alphabetical order, then it just has to be done!
I actually have all my 250 dvds in alphabetical order. And separated into Stand up, Tv shows and Movies.
I reckon its time for reorganisation! 8)
I think you should leave it until Tuesday 2nd November to do that...

On a valid bet from a bookmakers, guessing 1-0 is just as poor as guessing 1-5. You are trying to get one over when its impossible.
    Thats how I would feel if I were you.

But predicting an away win was correct rather than a home win?

No, I just have forgotten more about football then you have remembered!
Its a bit like comparing a top golfer(me) to a hacker(you).
The top golfer will always come out on top 99.99999% of the time, the hacker lives a dream that one day the top golfer will have an off day.

Could be exactly what's needed.
Arthur shutting out their forwards, whilst Margaret gives the defence a good roasting.
Is this Hutchings' long awaited Plan B ?

You normally need a Plan A before a Plan B!

Can't see us getting anything from this unfortunately.
2 nil to the Yorkshire folk. Moaning old git to go into melt down post match about 'northern' types taking the mick. Crimson to provide analysis of Walsall player's twitter accounts and Hutching's to fire up the DVD player.

On the basis that even a broken clock is right twice a day, I fancy us for this one.
2-1 with Margaret and Arthur on the scoresheet for us.
Moaning Old Git with the consolation goal for the trotters.

Re: Huddersfield Town (A) League 1 Saturday 30/10/10.
Due to the arrival of Jimmy, I am changing my prediction.
5-0 win, Jimmy Walker to make spectacular saves and be called up to the next England squad, because he's a club legend.
Richard Taundry to bag 4 goals, because he's a local lad.
Walker to get the 5th with an overhead kick as he comes up for a corner.
Unfortunately (possibly fortunately) I wont be able to listen to the game on SaddlersPlayer as I am away in a little welsh village where nothing but sheep, hills, and frequent power cuts exist. Unless of course I can get it on the iPhone! Enjoy your weekend, and the few making the daunting trip to 'Udders.

Re: Huddersfield Town (A) League 1 Saturday 30/10/10.
Huddersfield 2, Walsall 1. Hutch will go and lock himself in a room with a dirty mag, to celebrate the fact we only lost by one, and we scored a goal that took a wicked deflection as it was heading for the corner flag.
Walker will roll back the years and pull of 97 world class saves.
The team will try to watch the DVD of the match on the way home on the bus, which was recorded on Evo's mobile, Brain borrowed it for the day, but sadly dropped it in a puddle whilst getting a burger at half time.
Hutchings will still be manager on Monday morning, and relegation will loom one step closer.
Hutchings and O'conner, you must go now!

Udders 4-1 Strugglers, as we succumb to just a couple of tiny individual mistakes, which can be put right if everyone watches the DFVD afterwards.
Asps to go missing in the disabled toilets at Sandbach on the way back. Later next week name suppression will be granted to an upstanding businessman on three counts of dogging and public nudity.

Agree the score prediction but disagree the plan for this week's excuses. I think Hutch has been working on a new line of excuses, a plan B if you will, that should see him through the next month or so. Having been "unlucky" against clubs with similar fanbases and budgets I expect Hutch to move the old "How can we compete?" line of excuses against the upcoming opposition. "The lad who scord their winner cost more than my entire team". "With 10,000 screaming Yorkshiremen (insert 16,000 for the sheff wed game) it was intimidating and I can see why they are so difficult to beat at home" "Against a top four team we showed up well but just lacked the quality that the extra budget gives them and not us"," I have to work with what I've got within the means I am given, the chairman made that clear to me on day one but despite that and our league position I can see real cause for optimism" You get the gist.

Wrong. Sandbach? I would think a more direct route is preferable
