Brighton and Hove Albion (A) League 1 Saturday 28/8/10.
Can't remember the last time we went into a league game looking for our third straight win .
We should travel to the south coast full of confidence after two excellent wins ,
The Seagulls started the season as follows.
Swindon- away - won 2-1
Northampton- away- lost 0-2 carling cup
Rochdale - home - drew 2-2
Sheff Wed - away - lost 0-1
For what it's worth this early in the season Brighton fit 11th in the table on 4 points
Prediction : Our hosts will be very keen to gain a first home victory that said I'm going for a 0-1 away win .

We can pick up a point from this one, so a 1-1 draw.
Reid to score again.

Brighton are one of my favourites to sit in the play off spots come May so this will be, in my opinion, our hardest game so far.
Not predicting a result but I ordered my ticket today and will be there with my binoculars*.

Be interesting who he plays on the right, would rather keep Reid down the middle.

If Byfield or Macken are fit, it would make sense to switch Nicholls wide. Can't imagine him being too thrilled by that, though.

I know, he's an absolute goal machine when he gets a run up front, after all. :D

For a few games id rather Nicholls played there than Reid. Its clear to see who is the better down the middle.

We've sold 250+ so far apparently of our 500 allocation.
I'll be hopefully there, got to order before 2 to get my ticket in my humble Southampton house though!

I wonder if this can be the first match thread to get more posts than the Match Threads which we've lost.
That is if we win ofcourse.
I'm not suprised the match threads we win dont get as many posts though.

Brighton 1-2 Walsall. Reid and Nicholls. 5478 in attendance with 238 Saddlers.
Following my third consecutive correct score prediction, I will receive a call from the agent of that physcic Octopus thingy, challenging me to a winner takes all bet, predicting the outcome of the forthcoming Welsh Assembly elections :D

Good to see that Macken made the bench at least - nice to have him and Grigg to call upon if need be.

I did have an "Oh, no!!" moment when I saw the Brighton line-up against us. Their substitute goalkeeper is Walker......... but don't worry, it's a certain Mitchell Walker, on loan from Eastbourne Borough!!

Indeed, and started well.
