What channel will you watch the final on ?
The good old BBC for me . better pundits and no breaks during the build up
ITV or BBC

BBC during the build up. ITV for in-match commentary, then back to BBC at the end.

Definitely the Beeb. No stupid breaks and better banter between the studio guys!
As much as I like Adrian Chiles, he doesn't quite have the same rapport with the likes of Gareth Southgate.

The beeb are a disgrace, utter biased drivel. Hansen and Shearer are a bunch of blithering morons.

ITV, the adverts were better than the match. Worst world cup ever, not just the final either. Truly awful from start to finish.

The football has been tat yes, i thought it was entertaining up until the quarters when all the interesting teams were out. Its such a shame those a lot of teams really were not that good. Englands best chance ever...

I'd long forgot about England to be honest. If the miracle had happened and we had won it, then of course it would have felt like the best world cup ever. However it really has been a shocking world cup. I enjoyed the 1994 world cup better and we weren't even in that one.
Blame the ball, blame people making loud noises with plastic instruments, I blame a complete lack of talent in football right now. Where are the names that set the World Cup on fire ? All about the money these days, why on earth does a team need a half a million incentive to win a world cup final ? Ridiculous, what about playing for pride.

Re: ITV or BBC
I still think it means a lot to those Spanish players, as much as i detest them.
I do agree though, did Ronaldo/Rooney/ Messi/ Kaka etc give a toss? I really don't think it meant much to them in all honesty.
Like i said i tend to enjoy the group stage more when the "lesser" teams are playing for something. If Brazil win it, its just like Chelsea winning the Premier League, its not really considered an achievement, more of an expectation. Thats really, really sad.
Im also sick the death of watching players roll around trying to get players sent off, for challenges that do not deserve it. Suarez is being praised for cheating for god sake. So called "World Class" footballers acting like complete prannys.
It just reminds me why i love watching Walsall, im glad we will never play with those overpaid noncey boys in the Premier League, i wish they would bugger off and seperate. Id rather watch Troy Deeney huff and puff around with his lead foot and no footballing brain. At least he gives a cack, tries his best and doesn't roll around when someone legs him up.
Rant over for the night.

Odd, I really don't share that view. It took a while to get going but once the knock out stages got in to full swing I thought it got pretty good to be honest.

I used to agree, but in my opinion their coverage of the world cup has been much better than BBC this time. Andy Townsend apart.

Gareth Southgate??
I know he's a dour scot but I'd much rather listen to Alan Hansen's analysis than Southgate's. I think the banter / relationship between the beeb team is better and more watchable than ITV's too.
