Uruguay v Holland
If there is any justice in the world, then Uruguay will dismiss the arrogant Dutch and sweep into the final.
To celebrate their achievement so far, here are 10 important facts about Uruguay:
1 Uruguay is pronounced 'OO-RU-GWAY' in Spanish.
2 It has a capital city.
3 It has a famous river upon which a Nazi battleship may or may not have been scuttled.
4 Sebastian Svinstiger (pig-molester) does not play for Uruguay, nor is he from Uruguay, or Holland.
5 John Terry is not a very good footballer. He isn't from Uruguay either.
6 Uruguay has some neighbouring countries. Holland is not one of them.
7 Diego Forlan is from Uruguay
8 Roughly about half of people in Uruguay are female.
9 It is possible to visit Uruguay on holiday for a break - consult your employer for details of when is convenient for you and work.
10 Ghana is not in Uruguay, nor is it near Uruguay.
Thank you for reading these important and factual facts about Uruguay.
And good luck to Uruguay this evening!

Oh dear, Mr Van Bronkhorst has just scored from about 50 yards.
A few more of them and the goofy cocks can go back to obscurity.

Goofy cocks? You mean the double World Cup winners?
There's another fact to add to Saigons.
Forlan has equalized.

Oh dear they are one of the most succesful nations ever in football. DOH
I dont care they are still boring, cynical, cheating, and did i say boring.

Not sure what the ref was playing at with the injury time?
If Uruguay had scored almost 5 minutes into injury time after the board put up said 3 there would have been uproar.

I agree, thought it was strange myself. But that's just Refs for you.
Fair play to The Netherlands, congratulations on reaching the final.
Respect to Uruguay for putting up a bit of a fight for it though, I hope our "Golden Generation" were watching

Uruguay the best team in the tournament. No stars except Forlan but a great, great team. Fought to the death as I knew they would. Are you watching England?!

Beaten but unbowed, unlike a large majority of the so-called big-hitters.
And also factually wrong, unless France has drifted onto another continent. 8)
