Re: Yeovil Town (A) League 1 Tuesday 1/12/09.
I noticed in the program on Saturday that Brentford had predicted all the scores for upcoming games in League One. They had us down to lose at Yeovil and to lose again against Saints. They were clearly not impressed by us last week!
I'll be there (why do we always play Yeovil mid-week?) and will be happy if we come away with a point. I'll be sitting under cover, just in case of a repeat of the biblical storm of two seasons ago.
1 - 1 final score.

I'm with Asps and totally disgusted after such a lame performance in the cup.Only a convincing win will in anyway atone for that debarcle on Saturday.
It will also need a good win over Saints to go anywhere near to cheering me up.I was convinced that finally this year we would have a good cup run.

The long, boring end to another pointless season begins to fizzle out before Christmas.
The crowds dwindle, Bonser's wallet gets fat and still some fans claim nothing is wrong at WS1.
Zzzzzzzzzzzz.

Yeovil 2-1 Walsall
tinned to protest outside Bonser's office window, forgetting that it's an away game. His lonely solo "Bonser Out" chant to attract three passing tramps, who offer him some small change and a half-eaten tuna sweetcorn sandwich, so his evening is not entirely wasted.

I intend to read the above predictions to see if I'm mentioned in any of them, trouble is I've been outside the the main entrance to the ground venting my anti-Bonser anger and I'm froze solid. Was tonight's game called off?

Of course they do, but do they care? do they chuff! They will still get paid, they will still get beat (and again on Saturday)
A small band of loyal fans will make a wasted journey, and Saturdays defeat will mean even fewer fans through the
turnstiles for the remainder of our home matches in this non event, wasted season. Why do any of us bother?
Some backbone is required, and our squad aint got one! Niether has our 'so called' Management team.
Iv'e got to ask you, do you only smile when we lose ?
Rarely seen a positive post from you.
Ok Brentford was at best dismal, but not the end of our season. If you feel this bad about the team don't bother going again.

Question is for me. Is how many yellow cards will we be getting and at what point in the season will they start hurting us as a squad.

Why the hell would he only smile when we lose? He's moaning about us losing so where the hell does that indicate he would smile when we do?
Some people don't half get their knickers in a twist when someone posts things other than the happy-clappy mantra.

Wiped out at the start of Jan so if they don’t get 5 between now and then it won’t affect us.

I think it's all a bit tongue in cheek Graydon. Remember, MOG lives in Yorkshire where everyone's glass is half empty. At least he does not resort to personal abuse like our other Yorkshire poster

Not so. If a player accumulates 5 or more cautions, before March 1st, then he receives an automatic suspension. Similarly, if he accumulates 10 or more before April 1st, he is automatically suspended. The cautions are only wiped out once the suspension is served or the season ends, whichever occurs first.

Anyone in any danger then. We seem to be picking up bookings left right and centre.
