1 - 1
Asps to add up all the proceeds of his 'Parkin bet' and realise he now has enough to launch a takeover bid. Spends the second half sat around the boardroom table haggling prices with Bonser.

Re: Carlisle Saturday 3rd October
Lured up from Croydon by the prospect of a 1-1 draw in front of 3,420 (320 plastic sweaties). Taking the lead through an OG, but duly pegged back.

A bore 0-0 result infront of a 3,540 crowd.
All is then forgotten about last nights surprise victory and our inconsistent form continues :(
I hope im wrong

Carlisle are one of those teams we play and I expect them to give us a good game, but they're always rubbish!

Re: Carlisle Saturday 3rd October
Win lose or draw tomorrow, or next week or the week after we will finish 12th.
Having said that hope everyone attending has a great day tomorrow, especially those who have split up with their partners this week and need a healthy distraction from their emotional turmoil. Also those taking their partners to the game for the first time in hope of a long and fruitful relationship (or maybe just a bit of a leg over during the Wigan game on MOTD later that evening).... with some really good football to watch and hopefully a win, or maybe just a really pleasant, autumnal, mid-table draw..... hmmmmmm lovely.

Tranmere 4-0 down after half an hour.
Barring a second half miracle that'll be the end of the great John Barnes experiment I reckon.

...and that's why we will finish mid table.
Unfortunate but we could have done with that win today, would have put us top ten.
