Re: Hartlepool (A)
I'll be there
1-0 win, Deeney to score in the 97th minute after the only 3 was added on. Deeney to go wild, jump into the crowd before realising he's jumped into the Hartlepool fans who beat him senseless. Meanwhile the Hartlepool manager to give the 4th official a glasgow kiss in anger before going to storm down the tunnel but slips over infront of the Walsall bench who decided to do a good old fashioned pile on.

Re: Hartlepool (A)
Form guide Poos last 6 league games.
Bristol Rovers - home - lost 1-2
Gillingham -away - won 0-1
Norwich - home - lost 0-2
Oldham - away - won 3-0
Wycombe - home - drew 1-1
Colchester -away -lost 0-2
Like ourselves Hartlepool are finding home wins very hard to come by , 4 games played -1 draw and 3 defeats only 2 goals scored 7 conceded.
8 points fom 8 played sees our hosts sitting 18th in the table.
Prediction , 0-1 Deeney .

Hartlepool have had major personnel changes and basically havn't gelled yet, so should be a very good opportunity to get at least a point.

Any reports on their new keeper, Scott Flinders ? I worked with his Dad (who still plays in goal locally) for a few years in Rotherham. He is a Barnsley boy who seemed to hit the jackpot when he trialled for Chelsea 3 or 4 years ago. Palace paid a million for him.

Will be dragging the other half around the seedier pubs of hartlepool. After Charlton, i was contemplating not going again until "you know who" had left, but the pull of standing around Thornaby train station is just too great!
Think we'll sneak this one 2-1 (deeney and Mcdonald)

Hutchings should get the bullet if we dont win this, against a team who have won 0 in 4 at home and scored just 2 goals in the process!

What am yow on mate? can I have some?
A local betting 'legend' in Halifax has put a wad of cash on a Hartlepool win, he is rarely wrong, bets large sums on individual games, he likes to bet on Walsall games cus they are sooo predictable, but won £600 on a draw at Norwich!
I wouldn't have bet a penny farthing on THAT result! Hope he is wrong on Saturday! (would serve him right..git!)
There's 3's or maybe better on offer for the away win - I think I will have a dabble based on last weeks performance
Hartlepool 1 Walsall 3
Byfield with 2 and Nicholls

1-1 draw in front of 3,203. They are the only club in this division with worse attendances than ours  .

I had a few hyperbole-meister bombers on the lash in Norwich after our superb draw. Then drunkardly cried down the phone to Percie's voicemail box.

Re: Hartlepool (A)
My itinerary involves a trip to York Food Festival in the morning with a quick trip to the Yorkshire Rally in Pickering on the way up so if I haven't overdosed on pork pies or been run over by a souped up Mk 1 Escort I'll be at Victoria Park in time for kick off.
If we win I'm going to hijack the HMS Trincomalee and sail it back down the Ouse. Aaaaarrr!
