Im going. I always go to Walsall vs Wolves friendlies if thats what you can call them. Like to see what the new players are like. But saying that, we had Palmer on trial and i thought he was good but he turned out to be rubbish.

24 quid for me and my two lads for a meaningless friendly??? - Who's divorced from financial reality Bonser?
I met a Hereford fan on holiday and will be popping down there when we play them. Probably the only friendly for me.

You will not get a reply for at least 5 weeks, if at all. Unless you moan about it on the main pages, you will then get a miraculous reply within the hour, but it will be slagging you off and questioning your hidden agenda's

It probably went into the clubs junk mail folder. You are only a paying supporter after all. :D

It was £10 to get in at Rotherham (Sheffield) Saturday. I'm not sure if the home fans had to pay the same. I'm not sure on the laws with friendlies regarding charging away fans more than home fans.
Wolves will bring a fair few with them, and it seems only fair to charge them a few quid while they are here. There could have been some incentive for taking kids for free or really cheap though.

Just out of curiousity, are the people complaining that £12 is too much to see us play Wolves the same people who were happy to fork out £10 plus travel expenses to watch us play Rotherham???
I'm not a Bonser sympathiser by any means, but I don't think its that extortionate. If I can get away from work in time then I'll go.

I agree. I'm wondering what posters feel would be an acceptable price to pay.

Just moaning for moaning sake most of the time with Walsall fans. Some people seem happy to pay £10, but the extra £2 makes them not interested.
If the Club made it 8 quid, we wouldn't get enough extra fans through the gate to compensate what we would lose from all the Wolves fans. I think they could have done a deal for kids, and maybe a deal for say the Wolves and the Albion game combined, but when the club do these offers, it usually gets shot down.
I'm not going because of lack of funds. Got a choice between Albion and the Wolves game really, and I think I'd prefer something to do on saturday , plus I know loads of Albion fans, so can meet up with them.

So what would be a reasonable price to pay? By the 'real thing' I assume you mean league games (via a season ticket)? You'll pay more to watch Johnsons Paint Trophy games etc. than league games through your ST. Just the way it works.
Oh, and no need to get a nark on.

They wont be putting out a full strength squad because they have got Port Fail tomorrow night. So it will be a Wolves XI squad.
Im going for 1-1.
Ebanks-Blake (if he plays) for them.
Parkin for us.

according to the Dingle OS
WALSALL LINE-UP (from): Ikeme, Hennessey, Stearman, Balde, Craddock, Hill, Halford, Henry, Surman, Friend, Ebanks-Blake, Keogh, E. Bennett.
I'll go for a cheekey 1-0 win, Super Sam Parkin to nick a winner ;)
