I think he'll only play it when James Brown scores for them, just so happens that he's scored both today.
Let's just hope Hartlepool don't have a player called Tom Jones, Harry Webb or Reg Dwight!!

An away point, especially from being a goal down, is no disgrace - especially as I don't think we've a great record at Huish Park.
Good for Jabo to get on the scoresheet - that won't do the lad's confidence any harm at all.
Look forward to reading the reports from those who went.
And Peterborough lost.
And Crewe.
And MK Dons

Re: Yeovil Town (Away) League 1 Saturday 9/8/08.
I'm pleased with that.
Weston out injured.
Mattis & Bradley out injured.
Hughes, Reich & Ricketts not fully match fit.
We can only get better.
Excellent league debut by Sansara by the sounds of it.

Quite pleased with a point.6 points from next two games which is well within our capabilities and it will be a decent
start.

I guess WM won't be replaying the commentary for the goal:
"...I've lost my piece of paper.
Mick, where's my piece of paper?"
roar in background
"Oh, Walsall have scored"

Yes I loved that. He said the goal as a complete afterthought.

Re: Yeovil Town (Away) League 1 Saturday 9/8/08.
Excellent result IMHO, and a big turn around to dominate the game throughout the second half after being second best by some distance up to half-time. Even sounds like we ought to have won it in the end. Mick Kearns suggested the wind was well in our favour in the second-half and influenced the game. Is it ever NOT windy at Huish Park? :?
An away point on the opening day is a good start, so well done to all concerned.

Oh me of little faith!
Sounds like a very promising start with, as pointed out, not everyone available and a squad not fully match fit (for good reasons).

Quite pleased with a point, we are off the mark.
Hopefully we can come out firing from the start at home to Scunny.
Looking forward to a match report now.

oh, the players name is james brown, so he has a cheap james brown doll. oh ha ha ha ha ha ha.
I bet no one else in his life has ever done that joke. Thats SOOO witty. Im so glad I have this guy to bring such humour to my life rather than do what I tune in for, you know, present football.

What's your problem with him, yoda? He is a football fan of a lower league team who is making his allegiance known to one and all. He loves Hartlepool and cannot hide the fact. I for one salute him.

Re: Yeovil Town (Away) League 1 Saturday 9/8/08.
Thats my problem. Ok we know hes a hartlepool fan, but by God doesnt he let us know EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I. TUNE. IN. Its like hes got something to prove, like hes one of those people who thinks they are better than other football fans because they support a lower league team, and there are a vast majority who are arm chair glory hunters.
I sense Im making a stick to be beaten with here, so Im going to politely make my point and then respectfully drop it. As well as the point made above, I feel quite sad watching him, as I get the feeling he wants to be 'one of the lads'. Watching a man of his age play around with that james brown doll today made me cringe.
In short: I dont mind him trying to inject humour into his show, its just never particuarly good humour and kind of leaves me wishing they hadnt. Ok, point made. End of my comments on the subject.
