I fancy us for a point today - 1-1. Sonko to score.
I'd obviously take 3 points though, if they came our way, but i feel a point is the most we can expect. i was quietly impressed by Swindon at our place.

I've a feeling it may be more:
Ince
Weston - Gerrard - Roper - Boertein
Betsy - Sonko - Wrack - Bradley - Holmes
Mooney
Not that i'd be disappointed with that, it's a formation that's served us well throughout the season.

It's all the 2's as far as recent form goes with both teams on 2 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats from the last 6. I thought we would go 451 today but maybe he's playing Betsy as the second striker. I would have liked Nicholls to get the nod alongside Mooney in a 442 as I think he's done well recently but Betsy's experience will come in useful I'm sure. Hopefully we can get something from what should be a tight game but it will be a toughie today.
Come on you SADDLERS

Bradley Wrack and Holmes standing over the ball, free kick 20 yards out.
Curled left-footed into bottom left hand corner by Holmes.
Mick Kearns creaming his Y-fronts.

Re: Swindon Town (A) League 1 23.02.08
we sound well on top, and full of running.
Sounds like we're getting the ball out wide, too. Maybe missing last weekend gave us a good rest.
SW just said Gerrard is on 4 yellows, so I'm praying he can walk this afternoons tightrope. Otherwise it will be Mannie Smith/Loan signing in for next week.

Do his 4 yellows carry on for a period of time or, if he remains unbooked today, would they be wiped so he starts from scratch again? I can't see him being able to walk a tightrope every game in fear of the 5th yellow card.

Sorry. Match chat:
Mooney played ball to Bradley, who fed in Holmes (20 yards out) for a one-on-one with the keeper. Keeper made a great save, but Holmes put in the rebound with a composed finish.
Am I wasted in Insurance? Does John Motson need to be worried?

Brilliant!! I really hope we can sign this guy, he seems to get better and better. Fear we may have to get promotion to stand a chance though.

Bradley stretchered off. Bad tackle, which uncle Mick described as "a borederline red card".
