Millwall (H) League 1 Saturday 22/12/07.
Form Guide Lions last 6 league games.
Harlepool- home - lost 0-1
Swansea - home - drew 2-2
Bristol Rovers - away - lost 2-1
Yeovil - home -won 2-1
Orient - away - won 1-0
Oldham - home - lost 2-3.
Millwall are just outside the relegation zone in 20th place 19 points from 19 games. I'm tempted to say this will be easy , if only football was that simple. however i see nothing but an home win and our first double of the season .
2-0 to The Super Saddlers .

Really important that we're all up for this one - players and fans alike. It'll be back to about 5,000 and as the tone of this board now suggests there is a degree of expectation around the place which for a couple of hundred of our lot manifests itself in the form of moaning and barracking at about 10 past 3 if we're not winning. So it is vital that the rest of us are as up for this one as we were yesterday. I'm so proud of my team at the moment it is untrue and if we're all at it I can see us winning 2-1.

I think this will be a tricky fixture, they had to play most of yesterday's game with 10 men, and conceeded a very dodgy penalty resulting in one nice young man running on the the pitch to have a pop at the ref.
This is the real guts of the season for me, the bit that sorts out the winners from the waifs that will eventually fall away.
I'm convinced we are good enough to make the play-offs, but to do so we still have some improving to do at home so this must be 3 points.
I think Forest, Leeds, Carlisle and Swansea will be in the top 6, leaving 2 places very much up for grabs. having seen us play away at Orient, Brighton, and Doncaster we have every right to believe we can compete with and finish above them, and although Southend beat us their best player isn't theirs so to speak, and they are very inconsistent.
We got the two wins over Northampton to really set the season up, now two wins over Millwall are required to take us onto another level again.

"With Hoskins now departed and Simpson Not available and no more loans allowed & with our injury crisis it's going to be a struggle to field a attacking team , with Bayo and alex up front and no-one on the wings to run at them be prepared for route one all day long(well route 2 or 3 with pidges kicks!!) that's if no-one else is returning from injury!"
Sounds like another match for Dann and Gerrard to shine.

In fairness, they've tried to counteract that by having another family fun day - an adult and 2 kids for £10.
I can't really see that being enough to see us get 6000 but could be wrong. I think something lijke £10 for adults and £5 for kids in all parts of the ground would work better.

 Offer here,
Millwall could turn out lucky omens for us and we have / or played them at important times of the season.
We had a massive result at their place when we were bottom, it really gave us belief.
A win on Saturday CEMENTS our real play off spot credentials and a win in the cup could take us anywhere.
May I suggest, 3 wins v Millwall, resulting in a memorable season.
