What magic formula have Coventry City come up with, I wonder? OK, they're riding fairly high in League 2, and people will turn up to support a team that is playing well, BUT it's still League 2, and their visitors today were Accrington Stanley (who you'd think wouldn't bring an army) - yet the attendance at the Ricoh was 28,343
Or did the BBC get its figures wrong?

Accepted, and I could understand 10,000, 12,000 or even 15,000 - this is League 2 with the visit of Accrington Stanley for heaven's sake! But 28,000 + ???
And they managed to lose 0-2  which is just the kind of thing we do in front of a full house.

Let us pause to appreciate the fact that 4 days before the biggest game in the clubs history, shrews have only shifted 9,000 tickets to Wembley.
Exeter have sold more and cov have sold 3 times that. Last time I wandered onto the shrews Twitter account there were tweets begging fans to go.
