Walsall beat the Sloppies - always good.
Walsall win in the Chuckitaway Cup - couldn't care less.

I bet he does!
One win in a pointless cup and he's probably secured his job for another 3 months.

Without doubt this result in the Sunday morning Hung over Cup will have saved his job...so, we're stuck with him now until relegation stares us in the face after all our loan players leave us in January, and No1 fan takes the first cash offer for Ozzy.........................just imagine what we will be left with..................................................................................................
The sort of team that gave us all nightmares at Bury.........Flanagan & Kinsella.....Jackson & Bakayoko....no reliable goalie, it's just a dream (sorry, nightmare!)

Re: Shrewsbury Town (A) EFL Trophy, Tue 7th Nov 7.45pm
Would you believe it!
After that abject performance at Newport, we beat the Slappies.
And don't simply blame the sending off - we managed to play well at Brizzle, until THEIR sending off, then went to pieces and contrived to lose a game we should have won  . Maybe we have learned how to win against 10 men. In which case we are rather dependent on referees for the rest of the season. :(
Still, I'd rather we won than lost, even in the Pisspot Trophy
PS Even Cheltenham Town can beat Newport it seems

Well done Whitney’s cup heroes!
Pencilling in 25th February 2018.
What’s the lowest following any team has ever taken to Wembley?

Mixed feelings about tonight tbh, yes we won, baka got another goal which will not only do wonders for his confidence, but it looks like he is turning a corner in his career. albeit in a cup competition that to many has been made worthless. Hopefully by the end of it all the micky mouse teams will have been dispatched, and it will return to what it originally stood for, a cup comp for the lower leagues. And the other negative is it will give JW another stay of execution :|

Just got back in....very pleased we won.Sad some people are disappointed . Lets hope JW learns from this and keeps the the same system for the Gillingham match and maybe the same personnel. I heard the first half on WM and we played well against a strong Shrewsbury team who only made 3 changes from Saturday. UTS

You have to give JW some credit. When needed, he can find rabbits.
