When did Peterbrough last score at the Bescot out of interest?
All their recent games here they haven't scored.
They have started the season very well though so can see this being a 1-2 loss and massive pressure building again on Whitney.

Anyway
2-1 win or Whitney is in big big trouble I reckon. The board didn't sound to impressed reading between the lines at the supporters forum so I think his sacking may be more imminent than some think. Probably not soon enough for most though (me included). Should have been done over a year ago after the Barnsley fiasco anyway. Perfect opportunity for a new start.

Re: Peterborough United (H) Sept 16th, 3pm
We've a good recent record against Peterborough, and Whitney's sides also have a habit of picking up a result just at the right/wrong time to keep his mortgage provider sweet.
That typed, I'm expecting goals if Posh still like to play a bit.
I'd like to see Donnelenonohan benched whatever formation we put out tomorrow. I'm wondering if we'll see a 4-3-1-2, with Edwards and Flo expected to help cover the fullbacks minimising crosses and an easy out ball to the wings.
3-1 or 1-3 depending on the wind.

Easy win Whitney can't wait to put it right he has taken all the positives from last 2 games, the payers have run a few more metres and he is ready to carry on the momentem how can we lose.

I predict another 'toothless ' performance.
I get the impression JW is trying to bully some players into playing the way he did as a crap league 2 hard man in the 90's.
It doesn't work.

I can safely say that Peterborough will score. Not sure we will.

I am 100% positive that the lads will put a shift in whilst holding their heads up high and moving forward we will put this game behind us whilst learning from our mistakes and carry it forward into our next match where we will bounce back in a positive manner.

How is he setting that lot up? Is Ironman reverting to the defence heavy formation of last year. Scaredy cat football?

According to the BBC it looks like one way traffic.....now that's unusual! :(
6 corners and 9 shots, we have managed 3 shots, going the way of most folks predictions I fear... :(
