More points thrown away.
Most of the team look like they're ready for their holidays.
Great Makris got his goal but most of our attacks looked laboured and pedestrian.
Still not convinced with Whitney but now swiftly erring towards him not being the man for the job.

Re: Oxford United (H) League One, 8 Apr 3pm
This thread contains many comments about Oxford being a bogey team and at half time we had every justification for thinking that..a marginally? offside "goal" and hitting the inside of the post. We played pretty well in that half and it all looked good when Makris scored early in the second half however after that we were very poor and although Oxford's equaliser was very lucky with a wicked selection off O'Connor we did not do enough to win. The passing was dreadful in the last 30 minutes and clearly midfield needs some work in the summer on attacking play. Finally bogey team they may be but we were just not good enough today!!

So chuffed for Andreas! It's been coming!
However - as some have said - he's not a professional footballer so let's release him.

Let's release a player we've just spent our record transfer fee on!

Couldn't give a cack about the result today, pretty decent first half and a poor second thanks to some abhorrent substitutions.
Absolutely made up for Andreas, cracking goal too. :D

Definition of 'on the beach' - Morris's corner at the end of the first half - just trickled out of play

I think it may be a wooooosh - but subtlety is wasted on dimwits
Incredibly terrible once we had scored - the ability to do the basics seemed to drain away from the whole team.
I love Chambers as a defensive midfielder, but he is like a man with a white stick when he crosses the halfway line.

I saw Makris score. Yay.
I also saw a team and manager that doesn't quite know what to do after the first goal in a football match. Boo.
A mixed day.

That Makris goal was the worst thing that could have happened. Up to then, we had been the better team but after it, it was all Oxford!

Our substitutions killed any chance of a win.
I know he's got some good squad players and he wants to give them all chance, but....
Anyway one last thought - aren't Oxford tetchy?

Just quoting some of the crap spouted about him before on here.
Can't believe so many people thought I was being honest - you must not have read the Makris thread.

I know there are quite a few granddads on this board but this looks like it was recorded with something from the 60's! My microwave could get better quality
Nice video anyway, even as someone who sits in the lower I can appreciate how better goals look in the upper.

Not a bad game. Entertaining end to end stuff. Draw was a fair result. We can look back in years to come and say, "I was there!"

His first goal in 31 appearances. Those floodgates had better burst well and truly open now!

Sorry I didn't bring a BBC crew with me.
Personally, I think it looks like I used my microwave. 8)

I notice the highlights don't show the disallowed goal...

Yes I wanted to see that too, just to check whether it was already going in or not before Laird touched it.
