Ngoo has a good record against Palace under 21's: https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php? ... 0657277809
Don't get me wrong, I don't think he will start the match, just be on the bench. They are allowed seven subs in the Premier League so I think they have nothing to lose.

Half-time, and it's 0-0.
Familiar story in one way....we've had TWICE as many attempts on goal as the opposition, and TWICE as many on target. Still 0-0 though :?

Snoozefest in the 1st half. Baxendale and Morris lively, Mcquilkin a bit rubbish.

Saddlers keeping the same team for the start of the second half. Colchester two subs.
(As an aside, if things stay the same in League 2 Bristol Rovers will be in the Conference next season)

Personally, I'm smiling with relief (from a personal wallet point of view) at finishing in the top half.....(hopefully).... :D

It's all happening.... Notts County have equalised at Oldham, pushing Tranmere back into the mire......

75 minutes..... Featherstone and Bakayoko on for Baxendale and Morris.
Bradford have equalised at Tranmere, that puts Bradford only one point behind us.

Perhaps we should seek advice from Hamilton Academical - they're currently 10-2 up with about 10 minutes to go.....
Latest score Tranmere 1 Bradford 2 - which DOES put us into the bottom half of the table !! :(

Mick Kearns is one stop short of suggesting bringing back corporal punishment for the pitch invaders. 'Complete idiots' he called them.

Why was there a pitch invasion???? Was it because we had a corner, or something??? :?

Full-time, and it ended 0-1.
We had: FOUR times as many goal attempts as Colchester
We had: TWICE as many on target " " "
We had THREE TIMES the number of corners " "
... and we lost. Where's 'sallian with his logic to put us right when we need him?

And another season ends in disappointment. For the last 2 seasons it looked like we might have a chance of progressing but for whatever reasons it s not allowable. Over and out.

Re: Colchester United (H) League One, May 3rd 3pm
Same old same old. We let go/sold our front 3 in the summer and haven't replaced them adequately, the blame lies at Jeff Bonser's door and nobody elses. We have finished in a position that sums our club, it's resources and budget up - I suppose you could say we've achieved more than some clubs when you look at the likes of Bristol Rovers. All in all, another season on the tick list of average.
I'll see you all next season for what will be a carry on from the end of this season IMO and a battle against relegation.
Over and out.
