Coventry City (A) League One Wed Mar 5, 7.45pm
(Edited and updated!!!)
Starting the season being docked 10 points Coventry seemed to be making very good progress early on, but the wheels have possibly been slipping of late. Here are their six most recent results in League One:
28 Jan Leyton Orient (A) Lost 2-0
4 Feb Bristol City (A) Won 1-2
8 Feb Notts County (A) Lost 3-0
18 Feb Carlisle Utd (H) Lost 1-2
22 Feb Tranmere Rovers (A) Lost 3-1
2 Mar Shrewsbury Town (H) Drew 0-0
Coventry are currently 13th in the table on 38 points, that's 9 behind us but with 1 game in hand. In Clarke's absence the man to watch will probably be Franck Moussa, who scored the goal which saw us lose 0-1 at home. As always the result will largely depend on which Walsall XI turns up, but if it's the Notts County (A), Swindon (A) or Peterborough (H) outfits we should be able to claim the three points that could keep us in the play-off mix.

Re: Coventry City (A) League One Sat 1st Feb 3pm
Hope this isn't called off, because another date may make it problematic for me to complete my 100% attendance.
But I think it will be, P-P.

Will be annoyed if this is called off after booking my tickets already, and getting as far as Derby last week before I trains to Nottingham were cancelled. Also, what time will the pitch inspection be? My trains at half 10ish so i'll probably have to set off just incase it is on :?

I'm sure I saw a report on the internet that there would be an inspection at 10am on Saturday, but I'm damned if I can locate the reference again
I will keep looking........ :D

You're not having much luck at the moment. are you? :( For your sake, if it is called off, I hope it's on the Friday. Why hold off the inspection till Saturday morning, when it was already unplayable?
With more rain forecast tomorrow, I can't see the pitch being any more playable than it was Tuesday. But ,just in case I'll say 0-1, Lalkovich.

Will be annoyed if it's off too. Booked my trains ages ago to try and save money. I don't know why I don't think of things like weather when coming up with these brilliant plans.

must be annoying coming from so far where you need to book in advance to get a decent deal! for anyone going from Walsall/brum. If you get the group saver it is 3/4 for the price of 2 on London Midland. So circa £28 for 3/4 of you and more importantly you can buy on the day. £7/9.33 return to Northampton isn't too bad.

It's £58 for groups of 8. We'll probably go whether the match is on or not. Random days out.

with Ngoo signed from Liverpool, looks like Deano wants more of those crosses to pay off. I wonder who will make way for him though.
If he can convert even a third of the chances that go begging....Walsall have a very strong chance of making the play offs.
Can't see this game being on at all though.

I'm about to play this exact fixture on Football Manager 2014 and it get called off due to a waterlogged pitch. I know the game prides itself on being accurate but that is ridiculous.

You'll know when it does when I go missing. :D
He's in bed as we speak, moaned to ngoo and will rise at 8 tomorrow.
He loves the Saddlers though... loffs his head off at Walsall songs and watches the highlights of goals with me.

I note Coventry already have a couple of midweek games planned in February.
This one may have to played in March, or maybe April

Rotherham have won, but otherwise today's results are decent for us Vale, MK Dons and Swindon all losing.

So I used my pre-booked train and drank around Northampton all day and we were unbeaten for another game. Top away day.

Re-arranged for Wednesday 5th March.
Another ridiculous decision from the FL which clogs up our March fixtures even more.
