Rushall Olympic (A) Friendly - Wednesday 17/07/2013
Straight off the back of the Tuesday game, this might be more full squad / triallists than youth...

Hopefully will be going to this one, considering how it will be the closest away game ever.

That fashion stall selling pointy shoes and chunky knit cardigans brings in a lot of money for them.

Rushall Olympic 2-1 Walsall
Both sides fielded 4 triallists with Walsall's squad being an Under-21 Squad, featuring a certain Adam Chambers (who is rumoured to be over 21 :D ). Jordan Ball opened the score for the Saddlers, early in the second half before Ben George turned a Craig Bannister effort into his own net to level matters. Bannister then clinched the win for the Pics with a well-taken goal, 20 minutes from time.
It was a good workout for both teams, providing an entertaining game. The only down moment was when Walsall's Alex Dallison had to be taken to hospital with concussion. I suspect he may need some dental work, too, following a clash of heads.

Lost 2-1, Taylor Morgan looked handy in short bursts. Ball looked half decent and Flannagan was brilliant - but a shout out to our number 17 was in order, was excellent when he came on, real attacking threat - definite future star.
I thought I heard a familiar voice near me during the first half, which was weird since I came alone. Looked to my left and realised Dean Smith was standing talking to a couple of older Walsall fans about 3 metres to the left of me.
Stood about 1 metre away from him during the end of the second half too, took me by surprise to be honest!

A no show last night by the leader of the Olympic Mossiv :(
Perhaps become a stayaway or out celebrating his engagement.

Smith did that last year at Rushall, was chatting to fans.
I heard the young goalie was a bit ropey.

Drinking gin whilst watching football is the future.
