As I said elsewhere, to save his bleedin' fat ass - AGAIN !
I've truly had it with Merson, I really feel I don't want to go to Bescot again until the useless **** has gone.
Even so, I'll be there on Saturday, but for one reason only. To have a couple of pints with some great guys off this Message Board, shake their hands and wish 'em all a Happy New Year.
If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't be arsed to be there.
I've seen some desperate times at Walsall FC over the last 48-50 years, but NOTHING has ever left me feeling like I do right now. To have been where Graydon and Lee took us, and then to throw it all away, yet still keep a total tosspot like Merson in a job (or is it a hobby), I just find it all beyond belief and just too much to take, to be honest.
I expect, at very best, to scrape a 1-0 win on Saturday. A draw wouldn't surprise me one little bit, and frankly, the way we have been playing lately - regardless of one or two undeserved home wins - a defeat would not surprise me in the slightest.
That's the problem with Merson, we have no idea what he's going to do, and consequently no idea of what outcome to expect or look forward to. Merson the Moron, there, I've renamed him!
MOSOC - quick !

Shall we all just agree to meet up at some pub or other, and just say bollox to Merson and his cronies ? We could all have a few decent pints. good company without ruining it with another abject display.

He'll bloody need it if he puts in as much effort as he has in the last two games. He's already back in Portugal for what he's contributed and he can shove his Portugal flag up his arse. Controversial? I don't care. He has tarnished the respect I was prepared to give him with his "efforts" against Tranmere and last night.

It's usually the Saddlers Club, Fens. Often there is anything between 5 and 10 of us on any given game. Just turn up at the door and usually you can get in for a £1.

need a win and think players don't need a manager to know that. So that could be our lucky moment of the weekend.
2-1 Super Saddlers
2-1 Super Saddlers

Chris, I'm aiming to be at the Saddlers Club about 12.30. If you come to the Saddlers Club and can't get in, call my mobile and I'll come to the door and sign you in. As Dave says, it'll cost you a quid. Will be nice to meet up again. 07785 245669 - OK ?
You are right about being there to see Jorge off, I thought the same just after I'd posted my earlier message. So Dave, it's the SC and the match for me this time, maybe the pub on a later match day mate.

According to todays Racing Post we are unbeaten at home to Blackpool in 13 matches , so that will mean unlucky 13 for us then.
Taking into account the seemingly random selection of players, their positions and formations lately , the head says a poor performance with a 2-1 defeat , and the heart says a 2-0 win with Jorge getting one of them.Reality will probably be somewhere in between.

Well the line-up looks a lot better, I'm assuming two up-front including Matty, with SS at left-back and Wright on the wing.
Then again...it could be 3-5-2...who knows, probably both at some point this afternoon.
Bad news is all the teams below us are currently getting something, apart from MK Dongs.
