Well, he can't be stalking you. After all, what do Canadians know about football?

About as much as Sheff, I guess.

Well how a boot that eh , a football message board

Do you play the American four down version there in the old UK or are you like us up here in North and believe the game is better if you only have three downs. :D

Pretty good scoring today. Only 1 blob and generally 2s and 3s but the winning score was 4 points, achieved by Maverick - well done!

There are 7 games next week (some are postponed due to FA Cup fixtures) but that is enough for a prediction week, so will set up the thread in the week.

Table after today's games. Pretty consistent scoring, and the winning score was 3 points achieved by quite a few - Pinnacle, itasaddler, Old Penk Saddler, Exile, Sheffield Saddler, derbysaddler and me - well done to all.

Exile has closed the gap on 1933 and others just below are in good scoring form to catch them up, so all is still in the balance!

The postponed Sheff Utd v Scunthorpe has now been re-arranged for March 24th so will watch out for that one and add points for those who had it, after it is played.

Updated table after the game at the Bonks's's has finished off the weekend's fixtures.
Mixed bag of scoring, but only 1 blob. The winning score this week was 1933 with 4 points - well done!

That win puts 1933 and stig231 level on 6 weekly wins each. It also extends the lead at the top of the table.
After the top 3, it has now got very tight, with 9 predictors only separated by 2 points!

Week 28 (next Sat) will be set up on Tues eveing.

Interesting results and scoring this week. Everyone scored but the star predictor this week was Saddla, with 5 points, well done! Saigon is slowly creeping up the table and now breathing down Exile's neck (#shudder) but 1933 leads the way still.

With the Rochdale game being postponed, 4 predictors have that one 'in the bank' so to speak. I will watch out for when this is played now and add points accordngly. 1933 is currently looking quite comfy at the top, with two p-p games as well!

Full set of games this Tuesday (10th), so week 29 is up and running

I have achieved 5 points on at least 5 occasions, but I have never achieved 6 points.

I have also won the prediction league, come 2nd twice, 3rd twice, 4th twice, 5th and ... I could go on.

I am now very much 'in the zone' and expect to overhaul the habitually choking Exile and the woefully inexperienced 1933 while maintaining everyone's goodwill and entertaining people with my hilarious posts.

Needless to say, this boosts my own sense of self-worth to the level of a gigantic supernova. A supernova chugging out hot plasma that forms the words "eat my prediction success you bunch of 'tards."

Fortunately, I am naturally unarrogant and dis egotistical by nature.
But I am always there.
Always.

5 points has been scored 4 times now this season (by you, itasaddler, Pinnacle, and Asps). No-one has scored the maximum 6 points yet this season.

It was achieved last season by Leatherman (week 38), and twice in 2012-13 by stig231 and DonningtonSaddler.

So, something for us humble types and Saigon to aspire to then!

Quick updated table after tonight's games. Some nice scoring thanks to some home 'bankers' and no blobs. Winning score was 4 points achieved by Saddla and Asps, well done you two!

Not much change in the table really, although we welcomed Flemish back into the predicting fray this week!!

Week 30 (Saturday) being set up this evening.

Updated table after yesterday. An un expected set of results, particularly for the promotion chasers and favoured home teams, meant poor scoring - lots of 0s and 1s. But, the one person who took a bit of a risk, and didn't follow the comfort blanket route, with his predictions was Maverick, and it paid off! Well done to this week's winner who scored 4 points.

That meant a good boost up a few places in the table, although little else has changed at the moment.

*There is a prediction week (31) this Tues and Weds, to ensure we have 46 game weeks, so don't miss it!*

Updated table after the midweek games. Generally good scoring overall, with results pretty much going as expected. The winning score was 5 points, scored by Old Penk Saddler, Leatherman and me! Well done to the three of us!

Week 32 (this Sat) is a bit late being done due to the mid week games helping me forget (!) but it is up and running now.

A strange day for results, and scoring! Lots of zeroes and ones due to so many of the top 6 not getting the results many people predicted or would expect. Welsh Saddler took a gamble and predicted 3 very different games to almost everyone else, and the gamble paid off, as he is this week's winner with 4 points - well done!!

That makes him the big mover up the table and into the Champions League places!

No prediction week on Tues as only 5 games, so will see people for next Saturday.

Updated table after week 33 (yesterday). Mixed bag of results, scoring and points, but the week's winner was Asps with 4 points - well done mate!

For the first time ever, I nearly failed to predict, being reminded of Tuesday games and fiddling around on someone else's silly iphone.

In the event, I needn't have bothered! :D

What a strange night of results! Can't remember so many of the top 6 all losing. Of course, Bristol City won as usual - being bang on form is not what we needed from them at the moment! :?

Below is the table after Tues eve. Loads of zeroes, because of those weird results, and only 4 people scored more than 1 point. The week's winner was Leatherman with 3 points, well done!

This has caused some interesting developments at the top of the table, as the gap to the top two has been closed somewhat. Let's see what fun happens in week 35!

Table after yesterday's games. Solid, if not spectacular scoring. No-one romped it, which gave us a winning score of only 3 points, achieved by Sheffield Saddler, Morty, Saigon Saddler, Maverick and myself - well done to all!

A second blob in a row by 1933 has meant it is now very tight at the top and there are lots of people in contention - has the pressure got to our long time leader?!! :D

Next Saturday's games will be up on Tues / Weds evening.

Table after today's games. Disappointly low scoring, given the nature of the fixtures, but the likes of Bristol City not winning at home didn't help. Winning score was 3 points, by Donningtn Saddler - well done!

Exile has now clawed 1933's lead back and we have joint leaders of the prediction league, although 1933 does have 2 postponed games in hand - theses are never a guarantee of points though!

Week 37 (Tues eve) is already up and running

Table after Tuesday's games. No-one walked away with it and we had 3 winners, all scoring 3 points - so well done to Tyldesley Saddler, stig231 and Old Penk Saddler.

1933 is back out in front on his own again, but there is a tight clan behind, so it will be a fight to the end. Lets hope all those chasers don't forget to predict this week ( ). Stig231 is now leading the weekly wins list with 7.
