Re: Prediction League 1: Table 2013-2014
Here is the table after Tuesday night's games. A couple of blobs and generally low scoring. Winning score was 3 points, achieved by: rogerem, Welsh Saddler, Manchester Saddler, Asps and canadiansaddler. Well done to all!
Old Penk still leads the way at the top of the table, and in weekly wins, but Welsh is inching closer again!
Another table on its way on Sunday eve after the games are all done.

Table after this weekend's games. A few blobs scored but generally good scoring. The winning score was the more than familiar 4 points, achieved by Casual D, Exile, Saigon Saddler and 1933. Well done to those 4! It has changed the top of the table a little bit, as Saigon is now in third on his own ( :x !) behind Welshy and Old Penk.
FA Cup round 2 next weekend, so a break from the league one fixtures, but don't forget the romance of the cup!!

Re: Prediction League 1: Table 2013-2014
Updated table after week 20. With Port Vale, Wolves and Cov all failing to win at home, it kept scores low for a number of predictors, and lots of 1s as well as 0s. Those who were a little 'braver' faired better. The winning score was, the now to be expected, 4 points achieved by Old Penk Saddler and Rob Harvey. Well done to both! That puts some nice day light between Old Penk, at the top as leader, and the rest below. He has also moved on to 6 weekly wins.

Stick to copying two out of three of my predictions each week like you usually do and you won't go far wrong.
It would be nice to see Welsh, Exile and Ho Chi Minh Saddler man up and predict early in the week so I can copy them  :P

Re: Prediction League 1: Table 2013-2014
Here is the table after today's games. A real mixed bag of results, with a good few zeros, but also some good 3 and 4 pointers. The winning score was 4 points, achieved by chestersaddler and Exile. Well done to both of you!
An off week for Old Penk has meant the 3 behind him have halved his lead and it is looking like it is going to be a real scrap for the title this year!
With the christmas fixtures on different days, keep an eye out for fixture weeks popping up. Thursday's games (Boxing Day) will be up shortly.

Old Penk is nothing more than a wounded seal, thrashing and bleeding in the murky water - he can see the beach, he can even smell safety, but he is surrounded by 3 of the most dangerous predators out there > Exile, Welsh and myself. The prediction equivalents of (in no particular order: great white, bull shark and tiger shark) And we are closing in. JJ is lurking around too - he can be an oceanic white tip.
Old Penk has absolutely NO chance.

Re: Prediction League 1: Table 2013-2014
Great week of scoring for the Boxing Day fixtures, in the main. A couple of zeroes but a lot of 3 pointers plus a few 4 pointers. That would normally win a week, but this week the winning score was 5 points, achieved by Exile, well done!
Our friend from the southern hemisphere is having a real purple patch at the moment, having won 3 of the last 4 weeks, and it has seen him surge up to the top (joint) of the table! He is also now second on weekly wins with 5, only 1 behind Old Penk. People below are keeping in touch, just, so when the purple patch comes to an end, they are ready to pounce!
Don't forget the games tomorrow (29th) and get predictions in.

Re: Prediction League 1: Table 2013-2014
Updated table after today's games. As good as Boxing Day's scores were, today was a bit duff to be honest. Some blobs and lots of 1s and the winning score was only 3 points, achieved by tinned and stig231. Old Penk regains possession of top spot as of rights, courtesy of his 2 points today.
There is a fair amount of movement on the table, and the bottom half partly due to two predictors being removed who haven't predicted for 5 consecutive weeks (just to help keep things neat and tidy!). If they return to predicting, they shall be reinstated on the table.
There are obviously games on Weds (NYD) so the thread is up and running now.
FA Cup R3 thread will be up and running from Tuesday as well.

Re: Prediction League 1: Table 2013-2014
Updated table after today's games. A bit of a funny one really as for the first time this season we have some postponed games (which are indicated by the asterisks) so people have not quite got the points they could have, and these will be added as and when the games are actually played. So that, along with the fact the likes of Wolves and MK Dons didn't win meant there were quite a lot of blobs on the day.
Only a few scored more than 1 point and the winner was Rob Harvey with 4 points, well done! This could actually turn into the first perfect 6 pointer of the season at some point as he had predicted the postponed Swindon game. We'll look out for that one!
Not much change in the table really because of it all. There is no league one action this weekend (because of the FA Cup 3rd round - prediction thread up for that already) so league action will return next week.

One of the rare occasions I was willing for a predictor to get a correct score in the last few minutes - well done for Welsh predicting a 2-1 Saddlers win!

Updated table after this weekend's games. Some good scoring thanks to the likes of Brentford, Leyton Orient and Wolves that a lot went for, which meant quite a few 4 pointers that would normally win the week, but not this week! The winning score was 5 points, achieved by Maverick - his first weekly win this season! Well done!
The top four are started to pull away now so those 'champions league places' could be sewn up pretty soon!
