and a new outright leader!

Well, looky here!

10 games in and I'm the best predictor. The challenges of Manchester, Crimson and Fray Bentos effectively suppressed and killed for another year. Aldridge's mediocre challenge slipping into the void, and me, ME with the usual supernatural finishing surge yet to come! :D

HA!

I'm Tuco. This feeling is the ecstasy of gold! Look at me prance!

You can only beat what's in front of you. In Aldridge's case the pressure of leading was clearly too much and he has crumpled in the white hot furnace of competition. He'll be fortunate to finish in the top ten now. He's just lucky I'm restraining myself and not trumpeting my success in a unbecoming show of triumphalism. I've always thought it important to bring a touch of class to the competition, to serve as an example role-model to the lesser, struggle-prone players.

Well that was a funny one! With pretty much everyone going for the safety of the same 'safe' games, and those results not coming off, scoring has been sparse this weekend. A handful of blobs and almost everyone else getting 1 point, apart from a 2 and a couple of 3s. But, the winner, with a score of 4 points, was canadian_saddler. Well done canadian!

That has left very little movement in the table this week, with Saigon still leading the way.

Busy week of scoring yesterday and if you were snoozing on Friday evening, you missed out on easy points!

No blobs this week and the winning score was 4 points (the norm) which was acheived by the following predictors: Old Penk Saddler, Welsh Saddler, FBIG, chestersaddler, HKSaddler, Rob Harvey and stig231. Well done to all of you!

We now have joint leadership at the top of the table again, and it is all pretty tight behind them. Should be a fun run up to Christmas! In the weekly wins race, Old Penk Saddler and FBIG lead the way with 4 each.

Don't forget Tues evening games - thread is already up (week 13).

I'm not never sharing this with no-one!

So one of us will have to vacate the throne of triumph, Welsh. You know where the door is. And that's all I'll say on the matter.

It's just rude.

Final word: Testicles.

I couldn't agree more, Saigon old buddy. After all, you didn't share it last season, did you? :D :D :D

If you keep practising you may yet end up with a podium place come May - in your case it'll be podium or odium!

Update of the table after Tuesday night's games. Poor scoring overall as a few teams didn't get the results that so many predicted. There were a few blobs and the top score was a measly 2 points! Far too many people achieved that to list here, but well done to anyone who scored that.

It pains me to say this but, the Wolves helped out a lot of people. If it hadn't been for Wolves 2-0 Oldham, there would have been hardly anyone with more than 1 point!

Welsh has taken over at the top again as the outright leader.

Bear in mind...the above table is only up to last Tuesday's games, Saturday's performance has to be added to get an up-to-date version. It's quite possible that your stunning predictions for Saturday will elevate you to your rightful position. :D

Although, looking at the general situation realistically and your forecasts in particular  I think you should prepare yourself for a highly deserved plummet!!

Dear Sir,

I am not unaware of the impending disappointment that will be exhibited in the next tabulatury update...

That is all I wish to remark on the denuding circumstance at this stage, other than to draw attention to the huge dump of misfortune that Madame Perfidy has seen fit to soil my bed linen with.

It's an outrage. :x

Evening all, here is the table update after yesterday's games. Better scoring than Tuesday night and only one blob. Top score was 4 points, achieved by stig231. Well done! Welsh is still our leader, although with the storms forecast overnight, will he be washed away before next Saturday and his lead be overtaken?!!

Next Saturday's games thread will be up and running from Tues evening.

Here is the updated table after today's games. A couple of blobs, but the top score was 4 points, scored by Old Penk Saddler, well done! This has also helped Old Penk take the lead on weekly wins, with 5.

Leader of the table is still Welshy, but it is tight at the top and one bad week can really set you back!

A week off next week as we have the FA Cup, so we'll see you back with week 16 thread a week on Tuesday.

Not sure if this is a woosh (!), but binary is basically a number system that uses 0 and 1 instead of normal base 10, used for computer code etc.

Your prediction results have pretty much followed this on the weeks you have done: 1, 0, 1, 1, 1, 1, 0, 1, 1!!

Jesus Jones once sang a great song about it!

Currently:

39 Saigon/Old Penk/Welsh
38 Aldridge
37 Exile/JJ
etc...

Nice to see the gobby Welsh reeled back in and the rude Aldridge taken down a peg or two.

:D

Here is the table after last weekend's games. Apologies for it being later than usual - having to wait as games spilled into Monday, it's harder to find the time once in the throws of a working week.

Anyway, scoring a bit up and down, Sheff Utd's continual lack of form costing people a point or two. The winner, with a score of 4 points, was Chestersaddler - well done to you!

The table now has 3 joint leaders at the top! The race is close behind, so one duff week can really affect things in those top positions!

There is a full list of fixtures on Tues night, and the thread is now up to predict.

Updated table after today's games. It was one of those funny weeks again! With so many home bankers not coming off, only 10 out of 31 predictors actually scored any points! With that in mind, the week's winning score was 3 points, achieved by canadiansaddler - well done!

It also means that we have a new leader at the top of the table! With Old Penk scoring 2 points today, he is now ahead of Saigon and Welsh in pole position!

Don't forget a full fixture list on Tues night - the thread is already up and running.
