Week 36 table after the weekend games and the 2 p-p games last night.
Lots of zeros thanks to Wolves not winning, and some other predictions a lot seemed to favour. In fact, only 5 predictors scored more than 1 point!! The winner was Tinned with 3 points, well done mate!

Not much movement in the table because of the low scoring, and a good few asterisks have disappeared!

Week 37 now up.

Another low scoring week, this weekend with most scoring only 1 or 2 points. In fact only 2 people scored more than 2 points, and one of these was the winner, Aldridge_Saddler, with 4 points. Well done!

Getting a bit tighter at the top now! A whole set of fixtures on Tuesday evening so keep up the predicting, and the pressure on the man who's top of the tree!

Updated table from the midweek games last week (week 38). Pretty poor scoring really as Wolves didn't win, which most predicted so only 1s and 2s. BUT!! One man stood out like a beacon amidst the mediocrity and (drum roll needed here!) scored our first maximum points of the season!

Congratulations to Leatherman who top scored with a perfect 6!

Despite this, the table didn't change that much as he was quite a few points behind the next place! But, the pride of the achievement is still there!

Week 39 table from the past weekend may well be done alongside the 4 p-p games we have this week on Tuesday and Wednesday evening. Week 40 will be done after that.

Was going to wait until after the midweek p-p games but thought I'd just get on do the updated table for week 39!

Better scoring than the week 38 midweek games, but 'Mr Perfect', Leatherman, was brought right back down to earth with a bump, as after his super 6 points, he only scored a lowly 1 this weekend!

Winners, with a score of 4 points, were stig231, 1933, and Martkrugeley saddler. Well done to you three!

Despite no perfect score this week, it is interesting to note that we are back to joint leaders again! The chasing pack as reeled in Exile and made the run in to the title very interesting over the closing weeks! Week 40 will be up and running tomorrow or Weds evening. The midweek p-p games points will be added on when I do the table for next Saturday.

4 p-p games played over the last 2 evenings so thought I'd keep up with the tables. A few points scored, but with Wolves only drawing at Stevenage, it cost a lot of people a chance to make up some ground. Only 2 p-p games left as it stands, so it's nice to see the table looking better without all the asterisks!

Week 40 is up and running, so get your predictions in before the weekend.

I have been skillfully and quietly maneuvering myself into position, poised to strike like a giant python. The only slight kink in the reticulated backbone of destiny is the failure of the stupid wolfbags to provide even a single point of the two I was expecting in their game over hapless Stevenage.

Updated table after yesterday's games. Some interesting scoring and some movement in the table! There were a few 4 pointers, but the winner this week was Old Penk Saddler with 5 points, well done!

Not only has this seen Old Penk return to the top of the table ahead of Exile but it also sees them head to head on weekly wins - both with 7 now. It all makes for a very tense finale over the last few weeks of predicting!!

It looks like a 3 horse race for the title now, and there is a clear breakaway of the top 8 for the 'European places'!
There is a p-p game mid week which may help alter this picture a little.

As I am away until Friday morning now, week 41 is already up and running for next weekend. The FA Cup semi finals prediction thread is also up and running ahead of next weekend.

Updated table after last weekend's games. Only one blob and generally good scoring. The winning score was 4 points, achieved by Exile, Old Penk Saddler, and Longdogs. Well done to you three!

Quite fitting that they should tie the week, as they are both vying for the title and, it seems, nothing can separate them! They now have have 8 weekly wins and are a good few points ahead now. With their p-p game as well in hand, it really looks like it is a two horse race over the final weeks, although I'm sure Saigon has some fiendish plan up his sleeve to catch them!!

Behind them, the race for that final champions league place is as tight as can be, so all to play for in the next 4 prediction weeks.

Good Friday's games (week 42) are already up and running, and I shall do Easter Monday's games tomorrow so people have good time if going away etc.

Updated table after yesterday. Some very good scoring overall, and only 1 blob, but the winner was Old Penk Saddler with 5 points, well done...again!

Old Penk has hit some form just at the right time, having scored 5, 4 and 5 over the last three prediction weeks and won / jointly won all three weeks! Not only has this helped to open up a small gap now but also is leading the weekly wins again with 9. Looking pretty much like a 2 horse race now, with 3 weeks to go, but you never know what can happen!

I can still do this, I have four games in hand over the leaders, maximum points from them will put me within spitting distance of Exile!

On a point of order.....this weekend's games (April 25th/26th) are officially "Week 44" and therefore the following weekend will be Week 45. However, League One consists of 46 games, so what has happened to the missing week?

In the light of this revelation I move that this season be declared null and void, and the table-topper from last season should retain the title.

Yeah, I realised that it wouldn't quite tally a month or so ago, but couldn't work out where we'd missed the week! Anyway, 45 weeks should be enough to establish who is the king at this prediction game!!

Here is the table after Easter Monday games. Seems like a few were away for the bank holiday weekend, as we were missing a few of the regular predictors for this round. Consistent scoring generally and only one blob. The winning score was 4 points achieved by Fray Bentos Is God and yours truly!! Well done to 'me and him'!

Still a 2 horse race it appears as we head into the last 2 prediction weeks. Hopefully it'll be an exciting end to the season!
