I suspect there'll be a few players we're interested in signing, who aren't on the T&T tour. Some players don't consider themselves lowly enough for a trial though - even if it is in the Caribbean sun.

That's what I thought too - it sounds like Smith has next to no confidence that he can hack regular League One football.

he does looks about 6 stone wet through so Deano probably does have concerns about how we will handle a thug of a centre back on a muggy bog in December.

If he plays international football does that make his work permit easier to obtain? Could be in 6 months time he's developed a little more physicaly and is an international in which case deano will go back to him
