Oh crap! I've messed up and have a small penis. Can I have another go? :(
I find some of the posturing on here quite apalling and unnecessary.
Manchester is far too excitable. It's only a game!

Updated table after this afternoon's games. Generally good scoring, although there were a few zeros :( ! The winning score was 5 points, achieved by livingthedream. Well done mate! This has also put him top of the weekly winners list with 5 wins.
Form guide wise, Asps is leading the way, with an average score of 2.7 for his last 6 games, and has seen him rise nicely up the table!
Tuesday evening's prediction thread is already up and running, so don't forget in the next couple of days!

Pretty low scoring last night after some games were called off and other favourable home ties didn't go as expected, so the winning score was 2! This was scored by derbysaddler and Jockey. Well done chaps! It also puts them level with livingthedream on 5 weekly wins. It has also created more asterisks on the table again, so watch out up the top!
This Saturday's thread is already up and running so get predicting!

I have ejectulated into the face of triumph and told it to clean itself off in the bathroom of recrimination using a dry facecloth, before forcing it out the door of consequence without so much as a see you later.
The results are complicated, messy and highly unsatisfactory.
You live and learn.

Can you here Saigon sing? No, no....
Table after today's results. Nothing really that fantastic on the scoring front, mainly due to teams from Yorkshire not getting the results people thought, but the winning score was 3 points, scored by Casual D and Jockey, well done you two! This puts Jockey as clear leader on the weekly wins count, with 6. There was only one zero and that delightful prize went to Saigon!
Careful studying of the table will see that there has been some interesting movement for certain predictors and will no doubt lead to some gobbledigook nonsense posts on here over the next few days! :D (sorry, couldn't resist the post title change! )
There a few postponed games being played on Tues night, so I will do an updated table that evening if possible.

Know the feeling mate! :D
I had considered maybe doing a form guide of the last 6 games maybe, as you get on the football league site, but was too much bother for what it was probably worth! If you want a breakdown of weeks 32-38, here goes!
0, 0, 1, 1, 0, 2

Dean Saunders has just sent me a text about it . He said I'm a much better predictor than the other predictors in this league. And also , my predictions deserved a lot more points than other rubbish predictions I've been up against, and on the whole I've been unlucky................................... isn't it , boyo , look you, Eisteddfod.

Updated table after some postponed games tonight. Not really any movement to be honest, but a few points scored for people.

Re: Prediction League 1 2012-13: A New Season!!
Here is the latest table after the weekend's fixtures. No-one really boomed it, but there were four postponed games so they will have affected potential scores. The winning score was 3 points, achieved by Saigon Saddler, Morty, and Jolly Johnny. Well done folks. There were a few blobs, but partly due to the postponed games. WelshSaddler was one of those but Exile missed the chance to catch him at the top by not actually predicting this week...d'oh!
Week 40 (Good Friday) is up and running. With that, and the Easter Monday games (week 41), there are lots of points to play for over the next week or so.

Just checking in - You may now commence 'thinking'
Apart from Manchester's failure to take up the opportunity of a rare gloat (now an opportunity squandered), and Exile's continued apalling, almost painful, exhibition of how not to defend a MASSIVE lead.....I AM BACK.

Many fans have asked about the recent slight loss of form: As anointed champion it is my duty to defend FIRST place, and as I was in thrusting position I thought I would chance my arm. I was let down by Sheffield United. Bastards. And lost FOUR points on what would have been my otherwise default position copy Manchester.
However, I am once again poised like a dirty mantis and may repeat the same audacious lunge. I have to try: I am reigning supremo. This renders me more vulnerable to opportunistic losing predictors concerned about jostling for 4th place, like all those around me in the throng.
I can sense the intense psychological strain of those in the mix. I am immune, but recognise the sickness: it is the stench of indecision, the odour of doubt, the pong of weakness and the prelude to abject and lasting failure. The time to strike is NOW! Good luck! :D

Table after yesterday's games. Pretty appalling week, scorewise, thanks to a real mixed bag of results. Of the 21 predictors, 11 scored a big fat 0! The winning score was 3 points, achieved solely by Casual D - his second weekly win in 3 weeks! Well done.
Welsh extended his lead at the top, as Exile didn't predict again - has he given up like Man City?!!
Don't forget a full list of fixtures on Monday, so get the predictions in before the games start.

Exile appears to be having a mega-sulk at having been overtaken, not predicting for the last two weeks. Saigon has exploded magnificently - I can still see debris floating in the ether as I write. My real worry (apart from self-immolation in Saigon mode) is Jockey - I think I'd better copy his predictions to maintain the gap

Re: Prediction League 1 2012-13: A New Season!!
Here is the updated table after Easter Monday games. It was the first week since week 22 where no-one failed to score a point, and a possible record number of winners, possibly due to Sheff Utd failing to beat Carlisle at home. So, the winning score was 3 points, scored by the following: derby, Welsh, King Crimson, Casual D, Jockey, Saigon, Manchester, Maverick, FBIG and Kevin. Well done to all those! Jockey still leads the way with 7 weekly wins.
Thread for this Saturday (week 42) is up and running.

I wish I predicted a bit more and would have given myself a great chance!
Only a few matches left to try and catch Welsh_Saddler who is 6 points clear with 2 games in hand

This is the point where I remind predictors that I (a non-mod) came from 12 points behind to WIN with a record score of 104.
Other non-mod winners:
Jeffsmate
Atomic Rooster same points as Manchester
Stig231
Stig231 (joint)
SaigonSaddler
Mod winners
HKSaddler
Whitti (joint)
