I'd 100% have Jabo back. Bit of a physical presence upfront and most importantly someone who's quality with his back to the goal bringing the midfieders into play, I reckon that might work well with Brandy and Paterson/Hemmings on the wings.

Agreed, i'd be very pleased if we had him back. Still only 29 and has the experience as well as the physical presence we desperately need. Be happy with a few months of him on loan if not possible to sign him.

Agreed. Our priority right now is a focal point straight down the middle. That's not to say we need to play route one football, but we do lack a bit of a presence up front. With that in place, we've got plenty of options as to who plays alongside him, whether in a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3.

Very expensive and equally injury prone. Can't help but think having such a large proportion of our budget gambled on Vassell probably won't end well.

Just seen on the beeb that Lee Barnard and Jonathon Forte are being shown the door at Southampton. Don't know if they are realistic or still under any sort of long contract but worth a look at? Always thought Barnard was a good player, just seems to have been shunned at Saints.
