I'd like to think Smith is having a look at that list as we speak. However you look at it though, the reality is, Smith could make some players some decent offers this afternoon and they'd still hold out til July for a better deal.

I'd like to think that the most appropriate signings are ones that most people have never heard of....Cuvalier for example.

Exactly the sort of player we should go for, young and with real potential.

behave, i would have heskey for us and just bowermen and grigg with him up front, heskey looked world class against us pre season, he looked faster than anyone we had, a better touch than anyone we had, people percieving heskey is a poor player really havent watched him often at club level.

what a laugh, you need to have a look at the market value of players...

CHAMBERS £850.000
MACKEN £450.000 and the list goes on.......

He's not poor at all. He is really now for a team like Villa, but he would own the Championship. We wouldn't get him in a million years, was just a joke really.

Took his goal very well against us at our place and smashed a great shot against the bar for them at Rochdale, which led to the winning goal I think. That's the limit of my knowledge, but he's at least in the mould of the sort of player I think we should be looking at this summer.

Sorry to pee on your bonfire, but Grigg's under contract and we sure won't be paying him off.

I'm pretty sure he scored two for Southend against us in a 3-0 defeat on a Tuesday night at Roots Hall?

I would go for Stuart Beavon from Wycombe. He's out of contract as far as im aware & he might be tempted to go back into League 1.He's scored more goals than Moussa has.

Moussa's a midfielder. Beavon's a striker. A striker who scored too many goals for someone like us to sign him, at that.

If Wycombe can afford Beavon, we can.
