Spoke to Jeff B earlier, he assures me it's Nat Lofthouse.

Linked with Craig Fagan again.
On football rumours so probably bullshit, but hey, I would take him.

I'd like to think we can do better.

I really, really hope its not James Beattie. I've heard nothing but bad about him in the last few years and his career in recent times has been anything but good. Struggled at the blades last season even after Evans left, got sent off and hasn't scored for a good few years now - since his first season at Sjoke. He'd be on some wack as well.

We're Walsall. We won't sign anyone who isn't either relatively unproven or carrying a fair amount of baggage.

The purpose of the username is to continue where 'nigelfareastx' left off after he was called out for being a proxy. Same writing style, same hysterical doom mongering, same poisonous agenda.
Boring troll is boring. Ignore.

He did say on the wireless this morning that he still has players on trial and hopes to have signings next week, if not as soon as tomorrow.

No signings tomorrow. So @Taundz at left back on Saturday.
He didnt play too badly but his positioning at left back is woeful at best. Give Benning a chance.

Funnily enough, Mr Happy Days first appeared on Aug 6th, the same day that Mr Nigel made his last visit.
Coincidence?

People post negative comments on this board because unless you just agree 100 percent with everything that the tiny proprtion of people who monoploise it post, you get called a nob, an idiot, a muppet, a stay away, thick or whatever other insult is thrown at you.

Bit harsh Happydays2122.
I thought the board had been more tolerant lately.
Maybe we should spend ages rating posts and posters and have some kind of table.
There should be much discussion and many meetings and refreshments and hotel stays and minutes and rules and regulations and tables of punishments.
Then when a poster has got say 100 points for calling people idiots or muppets or being in a clique or having multiple signons or not spelling stuff correctly or whatever they should be issued a stern warning.
Then, in the manner of the Football League, we should let them off and wipe the slate clean and start all over again until we all disappear up our own botties....
Nurse - Whitters has lost it again, the Portsmouth affair has got him foaming at the mouth....

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours 2012
It's quite funny, really. A couple or few years ago people were slating UTS for being a bunch of negative moaners, now it appears UTS is nothing but head-in-the-sand happy clappers. We can't win!
As ever, UTS is a messageboard where people post their opinions. Some people disagree with others, there's the occasional flare-up and then they continue to get along.
Like your idea for allocating points, but think that on the reverse side, those who are subjected to the ongoing rants of the frothingly insane minority deserve medals.
Anyway, when's the transfer window close? :D

Ta. I would have only really wanted him for his acceleration. Even then i don't think we'd get to see it that often these days.

I think all 5 caps he mentions fit like a glove.
Er, if your head had five fingers sticking out.
Or very rigid spikey hair.
Or you had an udder grafted onto your skull.
Or if you were born in Wolverhampton

Nah Deano would STILL play Griggsy up front..."the lad still has a lot to learn but we think he deserves a chance to prove himself" .........the future........Grigg now 40 years old and still playing 'up front' for Walsall in Conference North, is determined to score his 22nd career goal!!

David Healy? Must be 34 now and without a club. Two year deal in return for 15 goals a season?!

No big striker for us.
“Everyone says I need a big centre-forward but I would have needed a 6ft 7in forward to play against their big centre-halves on Saturday.
“I’ve got two big centre-halves in Andy Butler and Dean Holden who can handle that. We’re looking to get the ball down and play and we have a certain style with how we want to do things.”

Re: Summer Transfer Rumours 2012
The striker doesn't even have to be big, we just need someone who can play the lone strike roll. Will Grigg cannot do this.

Personally I'm pleased we're trying to play football with the ball on the floor. I'd rather watch that in a league below than continue to try and cling on to League One status by hoofing it, trying to nick the odd goal from a set piece and then trying to hang on for the final whistle.
I just hope that on a rainy November Tuesday night away at some God-forsaken ground, Smith holds true to what he espouses above.
We still need a striker though.
