However, having heard the general feeling about Gary Teale in Derby, I'm not convinced that he would be a good signing at all (there are plenty of other options which I would take ahead of him; ideally, Gray and Jones would be our best wing men). As for full-backs, I'd like to see Crewe's Billy Jones.
With one or two 'prospects' on top of these three 'proper signings', I can see O'Connor and Hutchings having a decent crack at the play-offs next year.
One player I'd love to see at the club is Simeon Jackson (Gillingham), but more realisticaly, I wouldn't say no to more basement bargains like a Jabo or Enoch Showumni, again to add a bit of pedigree to the bench (hopefully we can retain most of the starting eleven that ended the season).
agreed I think one of the key parts of a succesful season
will be keeping jones fit the man just finds goal scoring simple
and he will set himself targets that will be a massive boost to our chances if he
fufills his high stanfards
also keeping gray would be wonderful having 2 players that know how to play
the wide areas and chip in with goals
And we will see if Richards and taundry can cut it through the season I think I think they can do us proud next season
A few quality signings to add to competition and I will be one very optomistic saddler
I do ask of every saddler on here if the protests do end do not let bescot become the cemetary it was before the protests
If it's one thing we have learnt over the protests it's that our supporters are more than happy to sing their hearts outs for the lads
