Nothing that cannot be remedied with a few minutes of contemplation whilst staring at an indoor water fountain?

Hope today goes well guys. Can't make it - going away for a few days.

Heavy defeat for the supporters' team, i'm afraid. 9-1, I think it was in the end.

It was a pleasure to play alongside fellow supporters, and the old boy's who never really had to get out of 2nd gear.

Big up to Asps in his gaffer role, and Dean and the other trust bods for their hard work in organising.

Enjoyable afternoon, glad some cash was raised, and it was good to see a few familiar faces and have a laugh.

Well done to everyone involved :D

A thoroughly enjoyable day out.

Really enjoyed the match today, great stuff! Just wish we could have asserted ourselves a little sooner though. Oh well. I do think that I have realised that I can't tackle though, just ask Colin Harrison!!!!!

Thank you for making me feel welcome lads, I have made alot of new friends over the last few weeks and I hope to keep in touch with most of you.

Thank you again.

Thoroughly enjoyed today. Feeling a bit worst for wear after my collision with Clyde Winjhard but the injury is well worth it. Hope we get the chance again in the future to do this again.

I've been thinking of some great Churchillian speech to conclude everything but to be honest, i just don't have the words.

Today is a day of huge thank yous. When i originally had the idea of the supporters vs old boys game, it didn't look like it ended up today as today far surpassed my expectations. I don't know what the figure is we raised today but i'm estimating it's in the £500 region which is not a bad days work. Everyone involved put so much effort into it such as Pedagogue getting Rushall and Marshy on board, Swiftyboy for the posters and flyers, the great Walsall public for attending and Dynamo for doing the line.

But my biggest thanks go to the stars of the show, the Walsall Supporters XI, every one of whom played their hearts out today and run themselves into the ground and paid £10 for the pleasure of it. 9-1 does not reflect the true legends that you all are.

Now back to the game.....you b*****d referee!!!!!!!

Id just like to add my comments for yesterday.

A big thank you to Dean for all his hard work, a big thanks to Asps for managing the team and donoting to the raffle, and Mr Pedagogue for his influence in getting the support from Rushall Olympic, and his hard work on the day also.

Nice to meet so many faces, and put some faces to names. Roll on the next game, as i know DFean is thinking of making it a regular thing playing against other football clubs trusts.

Well done all involved!

I'd also like to add my thanks and congrats to everyone for a great day!

Big thanks especially to Dean, Ian and Bob for all the effort they put in to organising, donating and pulling together the venue, programme, players, raffle prizes, half time oranges etc etc! Thanks to Marshy and his team for playing in a great spirit and being a top bunch of lads. Also, thanks to the fellow players in the Supporters Trust team - good to meet a lot of you for the first time and to play alongside you as well. My bro has some great video footage of the action including the moment I got done by a bit of Marshy trickery down the right (I've been made to watch it just a few times now in super slow mo!!) - both embarrassing and brilliant!!

Glad to hear that it has raised a decent amount of money and to a good cause.

If Rob is right in saying that Marshy was up for a re-match in April, I'd be well up for that - time for us all to get fitter ahead of the game!
I'd also be keen to play against other football trusts if that comes off!

Oh yeah...and thanks to Alan Wiley...that was never a pen!

Marshy has indicated that he would be keen for another game and was really taken with attitude of our lads who weren't in it to kick players up in the air. I have also sent out a couple of emails to other Trusts (The sloppies for example) to see if they fancy a game

The 2nd one was a pen in my opinion. Macca handled it as he cleared....how he could not see that Winjhard handled the 1st one i will never know

I didn't think Alan Wiley was fit enough to referee a game at this level.
