I was about to post that my 2 points from the weekend hadn't been put on the table as I scored a point for Leeds winning (had predicted 2-1) and for Southampton winning (predicted 1-0) but went and checked the prediction week 8 thread and for some reason my post doesn't appear there even though I definitely submitted it Saturday morning before heading down the M6! Very weird and confusing?!?!? :?
Looks like I'm gunning for the title of top predicter without a full compliment of predictions again this season... :|

Heh, heh, heh........ :D
And those 2 points would have put you joint third.

Re: Prediction League 1: Table
29 players this weekend, highest for tinned and canadian with 3 points: congrats!!!!! Big O's: Asps, Wyrley and gerryhattrick. don't worry about it, most of the players scored only 1 point, so no damage done. top 13 didn't change at all only the fact that tinned is closing the gap with top 2.

:? What a duff day all round yesterday.
I was on for 4 points and a climb up the table with one minute to go. Then wycombe equalise on 89 and Exeter score on 90+5 and I'm down to a single point.
Ho hum!!

Me too. :(
But I'm still above Manchester, which is all that counts at this stage. 8)

Thing is though, Bart.
If there were ten white cats and a black one and I had three
chances to pick the odd one out, I'd probably knacker that up.

Re: Prediction League 1: Table
here's a new motivation to some of our players. for the first time in the prediction history the highest score of 2 points  scored by sj and 1933, congrats lads!!!! and we thought last season was unpredictable. 13 of the 25 players ( so more than 50%) dindn't score a single point. I scored mine in extra time, thanks to bristol Rovers :P
so not o lot of changes and even the lads who didn't play (Manchester and some others) didn't lose a lot of places, ain't it Saigon!!!
Btw, i forgot to welcome MAD MATT last week  welcome and keep playing!!!

Only just got back - so I missed it sadly. Never mind.

Re: Prediction League 1: Table
(Only) 25 players this weekend. Highest score by priestley saddler with 4 points, congrats!!! and up to 2nd place aswell. four Oaks still on top (3 points clear). Only 1 unlukcy player without points, Jorge 14. no big moves in the table, again it seems to be a hard league to predict and that's what it makes so interesting isn't it.

11 long weeks ahead, and the pressure of continually being behind must be mounting now. I predict careless mistakes creeping into the Manchester submissions and desperation resulting in boiling frustration and anger! 8)
By the way, SJ has managed to predict 12 times, which is a remarkable feat!
Maybe it was a private arrangement.

As I have been away and not able to predict, do I qualify for maximum points in some overlooked rule ?
