I agree. Go Fernando, go Xabi, Go Pepe !!!

The fact that two, maybe three of these players will warm the bench all night isn't important.

It's being widely reported that Villa will not be fit for the final. However, I personally think they are more effective with Fabregas as used last night (assuming that's the option they use on Sunday).

And if they went with the 2nd striker option, bringing in the top scorer (Guiza) in La Liga isn't too bad either!

I have to say Spain were as good last night as Germany were lucky the night before. Still, I would not back against Germany :( .

Well done, Spain. The best team won in possibly the best European Championships ever.

At least I have regained some much needed faith in the 'Beautiful Game'.

How well would England have done given the successs of the Russians? Mind you, if we had of qualified, McClown would still have been in charge no doubt, so it would have been no hope

Agree totally. I thought Iniesta and Senna were brilliant, but the team played as a team. Enjoyed watching Ballack and Lehman blub. As for the Silva 'head butt', if someone runs right up to your face, shouting abuse, they 'invite' contact in my book. That's what happened last night.

I have said all along Spain would win. They were superb throughout the tournament.
So glad the Germans lost, how nice to see them sobbing and looking lost at the end makes a nice change.
